The connecting portion is connected to the horizontal portion opposite to the vertical portion and has a free end. The free end is located above the vertical portion. Therein, the fixing frame supports the in-vehicle computer through the vertical portion and the free end which are fixedly connected to a casing of the in-vehicle computer.

The rotation of the cam mechanism translates a bolt from a latched position to an unlatched position. The actuator may rotate in a second axis to rotate the bolt from an unlatched position to a disengaged position. In the disengaged position the releasable attachment device may be removed from the t-slot. The device may have an adjustment bolt to adjust the device to secure to different sizes of t-channels.

Further, one metallic rod is removably attached to the front brackets, and another metallic rod is removably attached to the rear brackets. Further, the flexible mat can be made firm by rotating one of the metallic rods within the brackets tightening the fabric mat wrapped around it. Further, the rotation and position of the metallic rod can be temporarily secured within the brackets to retain a firm mat.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus, which physically secures an Electronic Control Module (ECM) to the chassis frame of the engine block of a diesel vehicle's engine, such as the 12.7 Liter or the 14 Liter Series 60 Detroit Diesel Engines, using a heavy, lockable bracket that prevents the removal of the ECM from the diesel engine it controls. The most preferred embodiments comprise a diagonal cross beam with mounting cylinders on each end and studded mounting bolts, which allow the device to be secured to an engine block and to surround and secure the ECM against theft. Another embodiment comprises two inwardly-facing parallel L-beams, which comprise mounting cylinders, joined by a flat cross beam and studded mounting bolts, which allow the device to be secured to an engine block and to surround and secure the ECM against theft.
