Universal sensor assembly for vehicles
A universal sensor assembly for mounting on a vehicle is provided. The universal sensor assembly includes a sensor suite. The sensor suite includes a baseplate and a sensor being supported by the baseplate. The sensor including a field of view (FOV) associated with detecting objects within an environment surrounding the vehicle. The universal sensor assembly further includes a support structure. The support structure includes a set of detachable attachment mechanisms supporting the baseplate. The set of detachable attachment mechanisms is included on a rooftop of the vehicle at positions that are based on surface parameters associated with the rooftop and a support component supporting the baseplate. The one support component is disposed at a position on the rooftop that is based on the surface parameters so that the FOV of the sensor is unoccluded by any portion of the vehicle and the support structure.
Suction mount and brackets and accessories therefor
Unibody suction mount having a compact design allows for a plurality of products to be fastened onto the mount. The mount portion includes an integral threaded portion that cooperates with suction cup having a threaded post. The mount includes direct engagement with the suction cup to hold the suction cup in place as the vacuum is being created in the suction cup. The suction mount utilizes one or more nuts to allow for attachments to be fastened onto the suction mount. The attachments may include a variety of brackets used to connect a variety of accessories. The accessories can be designed for specific activities.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR VIEWING IN BLIND SPOTS
There is disclosed a viewing system coupled to a motor vehicle having a frame having a roof, at least one support, and a body with the at least one support supporting the roof over the body. The system can comprise at least one camera, at least one screen coupled to the support. In addition, each camera is coupled to the at least one support and wherein said at least one screen is in communication with the first set of cameras, wherein said at least one screen displays images presented by the first set of cameras. This device can provide additional view in the blind spot of the vehicle.
Collision avoidance assembly
A collision avoidance assembly for alerting a driver to a collision hazard includes a controller and a plurality of sensors. The controller is configured to communicate wirelessly, to couple to a wrist of a driver of a first vehicle, and to selectively vibrate to alert the driver. The sensors are configured to couple to the first vehicle and are operationally coupled to the controller. The sensors are configured to selectively detect an object, such as a second vehicle and debris, proximate to the first vehicle and to communicate a warning to the controller. The controller is configured to vibrate to alert the driver to the object proximate to the first vehicle.
COMBINATIONAL ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An electronic apparatus has an electronic module and a connection assembly. The electronic module has a first housing and a first connection portion. The first connection portion is disposed on and recessed in a rear surface of the first housing and has a first magnetic attraction element and a first buckle assembly. The first buckle assembly is disposed on two sides of the first connection portion. The connection assembly is detachably connected with the electronic module and has a second housing and a second connection portion. The second connection portion is disposed on the second housing, is formed as a protrusion corresponding to the recessed first connection portion in shape, and has a second magnetic attraction element and a second buckle assembly. The second buckle assembly is disposed on two sides of the second connection portion and is detachably engaged with the first buckle assembly.

Adapter for mobile device
An adapter securing a mobile device to a vehicle is disclosed. The adapter is positioned between an interior trim part and a vehicle component, and is configured for receiving a cable. The cable includes a connector at a first end of the cable for connecting the cable to the mobile device. The adapter includes a base, a first member extending outwardly from the base, a second member extending outwardly from the base substantially parallel to the first member, and a plurality of cross bars extending between the first member and the second member, the cross bars configured such that the cable may be threaded and looped around the cross bars.
Hit-And-Run Dash Camera Device
A hit-and-run dash camera device is provided that has a plurality of sensors. The sensors may be triggered by specific distance and speed elements commonly found before, during, or after a hit-and-run collision. Triggering of the sensors causes at least one camera of the device to begin recording to capture a fleeing vehicle.
Vehicle adapter and sealed cooling system for portable communications device
A vehicle adapter configured to be mounted to a vehicle. The vehicle adapter includes a body sized and shaped to receive and hold a portable communications device, the body including a surface configured to press against the portable communications device. The vehicle adapter further includes a cooling system coupled to the body, the cooling system including a conduit configured to deliver a coolant to an internal channel of the portable communications device. The conduit defines a projection sized and shaped to press against and open a valve on the portable communications device when the portable communications device is received into the vehicle adapter.
