A mobile device cradle with improved functionality. Such added functionality makes the mobile device cradle useful even when not coupled with a mobile device. Cradles with improved functionality will find use in vehicles, homes, offices, and the like.
Vehicle mountable carrier system
In one series of embodiments, a carrier system includes a rack mountable on a vehicle to transport material. The rack includes a frame having one or more suction cups attached to the rear side of the frame, e.g., for attachment to a surface such as the side of the vehicle. A support bar mates with the frame. The support bar and the frame may include attachment configurations which mate with one another to selectively and securely attach the bar to the front side of the frame with the bar extending in a direction away from the one or more cups. With the rack comprising a plurality of suction cups, the frame may be configured as a plate or may comprise a series of arms or connected braces which extend away from a center position to the suction cups.
Audible alert system for truck operators
The audible alert system for truck operators comprises a mirror unit and a cab unit. The mirror unit attaches to an external mirror of the truck where it has an unobstructed view of the system. The mirror unit comprises a camera, which captures images of the area behind the truck and a processor that analyzes the images looking for a change in the dock light system. Whenever the mirror unit detects that the dock light system has changes, it wirelessly transmits a notification to the cab unit. The cab unit receives the notification and activates a sound transducer and/or indictor light to alert the truck operator. The truck operator may silence the sound transducer and/or extinguish the indicator light by pressing a reset button on the cab unit.

FULL-AUTOMATIC HORIZONTAL CLAMPING HOLDER
A full-automatic horizontal clamping holder includes a rear base, a bottom support arm, a left holding arm and a right holding arm mounted to the rear base. The full-automatic horizontal clamping holder further includes a return elastic member extending vertically for returning the bottom support arm upward. A linkage assembly is provided between the bottom support arm and the left and right holding arms for linking the left and right holding arms to horizontally move inward or outward so as to clamp or release a mobile phone.

A carrier system (10) for a vehicle having a pair of vacuum devices (16) shaped and sized to mate and secure to a recreational article. Each vacuum device (16) includes a pad (54) shaped and sized to detachably seat with a vehicle to form a vacuum cavity. The vacuum device (16) includes a plunger (42) attached to the pad (16) and in fluid communication with the vacuum cavity, and an indicator positioned on the plunger (42) to indicate the level of vacuum pressure within the vacuum cavity.
System and process for viewing in blind spots
There is disclosed a viewing system coupled to a motor vehicle having a frame having a roof, at least one support, and a body with the at least one support supporting the roof over the body. The system can comprise at least one camera, at least one screen coupled to the support. In addition each camera is coupled to the at least one support and wherein said at least one screen is in communication with the first set of cameras, wherein said at least one screen displays images presented by the first set of cameras. This device can provide additional view in the blind spot of the vehicle.
AUTOMATIC HOLDER WITH SUCTION CUP
The present disclosure discloses an automatic holder with a suction cup, including a holder main body; a power supply, a control circuit board, and an air extraction and bleeding device are fixed in the holder main body; a rubber suction cup is arranged at a bottom of the holder main body; an inner cavity of the rubber suction cup is communicated with the air extraction and bleeding device; a rotary suction member is arranged at a top of the holder main body; the rotary suction member is rotatable relative to the holder main body; the rotary suction member includes a ring-like main body; a ring-like groove is formed in the ring-like main body; an iron ring plate and a magnet ring are fixed in the ring-like groove; and the magnet ring is arranged on an outer side of the iron ring plate.
Mount apparatus for securing an electronic device to a surface
Various embodiments of a mount apparatus are disclosed herein for securing an electronic device (such as a radar/laser detector. GPS device, and/or dash camera or other electronic device used within a vehicle) to a surface such as an interior surface (e.g., windshield, dashboard) of a vehicle. In one example, the mount apparatus includes a magnet which is adapted to be coupled with a corresponding metal surface within the electronic device, so that the magnet positioned within the apparatus provides a magnetic force to aid a user in securing the mount apparatus and the electronic device to each other.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE HOLDER AND RELATED METHOD
A portable electronic device holder for holding and supporting a portable electronic device includes a holding assembly with a holding mechanism and an insert. The holding mechanism having a rear surface and a concave portion extending therefrom with a tab disposed distally from the rear surface. The holding mechanism is configured to selectively connect to a mounting surface. The holder further includes a band and retainer attached to the holding assembly. The band configured to receive at least one hook extending generally rearward from the band to engage the portable electronic device or its cover.
