SUPPORTING MEANS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH POWER SUPPLY RETENTION MEANS
The invention is directed to an assembly for removeably mounting an electronic device to a surface, said assembly comprising a) a base section; b) a device mounting section; and, c) a power supply retention component attached to the base section (a) which releaseably attaches a power supply delivery means thereto.
Smart holder
An apparatus for a mobile device, the holder including: a support structure including a mounting apparatus, adapted for fixing the apparatus in place within an interior space, a coupling mechanism adapted for removeably coupling the mobile device to the support structure, and a control unit housing; a processor unit, housed in the housing; a wireless transceiver, operationally coupled to the processor unit and configured to communicate with the mobile device; and a speaker, operationally coupled to the processor unit and the wireless transceiver and configured to output audio data received from the mobile device by the wireless transceiver.
RELEASABLE VEHICULAR CAMERA MOUNT
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a camera mount system (CMS) releasably mountable to vehicle surfaces via a plurality of leg members, each leg member extending radially from a hub to support an articulating wrist member with a distal suction attachment. In an illustrative example, the articulating wrist may adjust vertically to permit secure sealing of the suction attachment to a local vehicle roof surface. Each of the articulating wrists may couple to a corresponding distal end of one of the leg members via, for example, a ball joint. The wrist angle relative to the leg member may be releasably locked by hand operation of a locking control that, for example, also locks the angle of the wrist relative to the suction attachment. Some systems may advantageously be quickly, releasably and securely mounted from non-planar and/or irregularly shaped vehicle surfaces, for example, roofs, roll cages, hulls, doors, hoods, and bodies.
CLIP FOR HOLDING ARTICLES AND STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY EQUIPPED WITH CLIP
A clip for holding articles includes a main body having a first body portion and a second body portion mounted to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first body portion for selectively positioning the clip between an open state and a closed state. The first state of the clip is configured to allow an article to be positioned between the first and second body portions, and the closed state of the article is configured to securely hold the article between the first and second body portions. A biasing member is mounted between the first and second body portions for biasing the clip to the closed state. The clip is configured for placement in the open state by pivotal movement of the first body portion relative to the second body portion against the biasing force of the biasing member.
Vehicle mountable carrier system
In one series of embodiments, a carrier system includes a rack mountable on a vehicle to transport material. The rack includes a frame having one or more suction cups attached to the rear side of the frame, e.g., for attachment to a surface such as the side of the vehicle. A support bar mates with the frame. The support bar and the frame may include attachment configurations which mate with one another to selectively and securely attach the bar to the front side of the frame with the bar extending in a direction away from the one or more cups. With the rack comprising a plurality of suction cups, the frame may be configured as a plate or may comprise a series of arms or connected braces which extend away from a center position to the suction cups.
HANDHELD MOUNT FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A handheld mount assembly for portable electronic device includes a pistol style grip and suction cup assembly. The mount assembly functions as a gripping device for handheld use, a hands free stand, and a recharging station. The mount can be secured anywhere on the back of the electronic device, making the angle adjustable for stand use, and also allowing the user to position the device differently to accommodate his/her own needs. The mount can power/charge the portable wireless device as well as wirelessly connect to it and integrate its operational controls to those three tactile controls of the mount assembly.
Vehicle mountable article dryer system
An article dryer system removably couples to an exterior of a vehicle. The article dryer system includes (I) a receptacle assembly including (A) a bottom portion, (B) a top portion spaced from the bottom portion, (C) a first side portion extending between the bottom portion and the top portion, and (D) a second side portion extending between the bottom portion and the top portion, the second side portion spaced from the first side portion. The bottom portion, the top portion, the first side portion, and the second side portion partially bound an interior area having an inlet opening and outlet opening. The article dryer system also includes (II) at least one coupler for coupling to the exterior of the vehicle with the coupler coupled to the receptacle assembly. Other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
