A tablet holding assembly includes a panel that has a pair of track slots therein. A pair of arms is each pivotally coupled to and extends upwardly from the panel to releasably engage a ceiling in a vehicle. A pair of first couplers is each of the first couplers is coupled to a respective one of the arms to releasably engage the ceiling of the vehicle. A pair of second couplers is each of the second couplers is coupled to the panel to releasably engage the ceiling of the vehicle when the panel is positioned in a stored position. A pair of supports is each of the supports is coupled to the panel to support an electronic tablet on the panel. A pair of clamping units is each movably coupled to the panel to engage the electronic tablet.

Electronic device and stand

An electronic device includes a device main body and a stand that is placed on a sucked surface and supports the device main body. The stand includes a base portion and an elastic body that is disposed on a lower surface of the base portion and has a suction surface that is attached by suction to the sucked surface with negative pressure generated in a gap between the suction surface and the sucked surface. The elastic body generates no negative pressure in the gap when no external force is exerted on the stand in a direction to separate from the sucked surface while the stand is placed on the sucked surface. The elastic body generates negative pressure in the gap by being elastically deformed in the direction to separate from the sucked surface when the external force is exerted on the stand while the stand is placed on the sucked surface.

UNIVERSAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLES

A universal sensor assembly for mounting on a vehicle is provided. The universal sensor assembly includes a sensor suite. The sensor suite includes a baseplate and a sensor being supported by the baseplate. The sensor including a field of view (FOV) associated with detecting objects within an environment surrounding the vehicle. The universal sensor assembly further includes a support structure. The support structure includes a set of detachable attachment mechanisms supporting the baseplate. The set of detachable attachment mechanisms is included on a rooftop of the vehicle at positions that are based on surface parameters associated with the rooftop and a support component supporting the baseplate. The one support component is disposed at a position on the rooftop that is based on the surface parameters so that the FOV of the sensor is unoccluded by any portion of the vehicle and the support structure.

Optimized forward-facing camera calibration system with portable mounting apparatus and adaptable electronic calibration target display

A system and method for calibrating a forward-facing camera or sensor of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a calibration tool, the position of which can be adjusted on the vehicle to align a presentation screen of the calibration tool with the vehicle camera. A processor performs a method to determine the size and position of a calibration target to be displayed on the presentation screen, based on a position of the calibration tool relative to the vehicle camera and generates a calibration target image to be digitally transmitted to the presentation screen. The presentation screen displays the calibration target image at an appropriate height, angle, and distance from the camera or sensor being calibrated.

TEMPORARY STABILIZER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE

A temporary stabilizer system allows a spoiler or wing to be removably attached to a car or some other vehicle. The stabilizer then generates downforce relative to the velocity of the air passing around it to hold the car to the ground and increase the control thereof. The stabilizer is attached by suction cups or by an artificial suction force.
