HANDS-FREE MOUNT FOR MOBILE DEVICES
A hands-free mount for a mobile device is disclosed. An example hands-free mount includes a first plate for combining with a case of the mobile device, and a second plate for pairing with the first plate. The second plate is magnetically attachable at least in part to the first plate, and the second plate is attachable at least in part to a surface so that the mobile device can be magnetically attached to the surface. The hands-free mount can be universal to fit all smartphones. It provides a sleek removable magnetic back that can be used with or without a case for numerous mounting options.
Magnetic Device Mount for Attachment to Non-Ferromagnetic Material
The invention relates to an apparatus with magnets of a unique configuration to secure devices to non-ferromagnetic material, such as the windshield of a car. The invention permits the perimeter structure of the non-ferrous material to optionally be used to provide additional stability to secured devices. At least two magnets clamp opposite sides of the non-ferromagnetic material, magnetically associating the two magnets. The magnets are of a shape conducive to avoiding collision with windshield wipers, when mounted onto a car windshield, while maintaining sufficient volume to provide acceptable magnetic force to support devices mechanically attached to magnets. Example attached devices include a phone, GPS, camera, or tablet.
Vehicle Audio Communication System
A communication system for vehicles allowing occupants of an interior cab of the vehicle to orally communicate with persons outside the vehicle while all windows and doors of the vehicle are closed. The system employs an internal communications component in operative communication with an exterior communications component to communicate voice communications to and from both the person outside the vehicle and the occupants of the sealed interior cab of the vehicle.
ACTIVE VEHICLE DEFENSE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An active vehicle defense system is presented, in which a chemical agent, repellant to humans and/or animals, is stored in the system, and directed to a housing on the exterior of a vehicle by an inlet channel. Within the housing, the inlet channel subdivides into a plurality of lateral channels, each terminating in an orifice, or spray point. A controller allows flows of the chemical agent to be turned on, off, and varied, as well as for relative differentials in flow volume and spray patterns as dispensed by the device, including allowing a 360-degree pattern of defensive spray to be established around a vehicle.
Portable dash pouch
A dashboard pouch is provided. The dashboard pouch ensemble includes a base tray, configured to be detachably attached to an external surface, and a document pouch, configured to be inserted into a cavity of the base tray. The base tray includes a first cover, comprising a first end hingedly connected to a first side panel of the base tray, and a second end including one or more first fastening devices, and a second cover comprising a first end connected to the first side panel of the document pouch, and a second end connected to a second side panel of the base tray, and the second cover is configured to form a cavity with a base panel, side panels, and a rear panel of the base tray, wherein the second side panel includes one or more second fastening devices.
Vehicle camera telemetry system
A vehicle camera telemetry system has a remotely mountable camera apparatus which has a stem having a magnet for magnetic affixation to a metallic body of a vehicle in use. The apparatus further comprises a camera device connected from the distal end of the stem by an adjustable coupling. The stem may further be telescopic for length adjustment so as, for example, extend the length of the stem from less than 22 cm to greater than 29 cm. The camera device has an image sensor and a wireless transmitter for transmitting image data obtained therefrom to a connected mobile device using a wireless connection, such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. As such, in use, the camera apparatus may be affixed to various parts of a vehicle and/or an associated trailer, caravan or the like.
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND GUIDANCE SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the JIG unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.
AUTOMATIC LIGHT BLOCKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Provided is an automatic light blocking device for a vehicle, wherein a light blocking slider protrudes in a sliding manner from the ceiling or roof of the vehicle in order to block sunlight shining into the interior of the vehicle. To this end, an automatic light blocking device for a vehicle comprises: a light blocking body provided on the ceiling or roof of the vehicle and having at least one sliding groove which is open in the direction in which light is to be blocked; a light blocking slider which is slidably inserted into and coupled to the sliding groove; and a driving unit for sliding the light blocking slider along the light blocking body by using power applied from the vehicle.
CLIP FOR HOLDING ARTICLES AND STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY EQUIPPED WITH CLIP
The invention is directed to a clip for holding articles includes a main body having a first body portion and a second body portion mounted to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first body portion for selectively positioning the clip between an open state and a closed state. The first state of the clip is configured to allow an article to be positioned between the first and second body portions, and the closed state of the article is configured to securely hold the article between the first and second body portions. A biasing member is mounted between the first and second body portions for biasing the clip to the closed state. The clip is configured for placement in the open state by pivotal movement of the first body portion relative to the second body portion against the biasing force of the biasing member. The invention is also directed to a sun visor assembly equipped with the clip.
Systems, apparatus, and methods for ambulatory use of drinking containers
A holster assembly for use in retaining liquid containers includes a holster clip and a holster cup holder. The holster clip and the holster cup holder are configured to be selectively attached and detached from one another.
