DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A display device for a vehicle includes a first frame, a second frame configured to move along a first direction with respect to the first frame, a first roller spaced apart from the first frame, a second roller rotatably coupled to the second frame and configured to move along the first direction based on movement of the second frame with respect to the first frame, and a flexible display that is at least partially wound around the second roller, that is configured to be bent around the second roller, and that has an end portion fixed to the first frame. A front surface of the flexible display defines an externally exposed area that is configured to increase based on an increase of a distance between the first roller and the second roller.
Large Vehicle Backup Camera Apparatus
A large vehicle backup camera apparatus for assisting tractor trailer and RV drivers while backing up includes a camera and at least one wide-angle light coupled to the camera housing. A transmitter coupled within the camera housing transmits video from the camera to a personal electronic device. A ferrous plate is coupled within the camera housing adjacent a housing back side of the camera housing. A mounting bracket has a magnet coupled there within. The magnet is selectively engageable with the ferrous plate to selectively engage a trailer rear of a tractor-trailer or long-towed RV that use and operate a 5th wheel mechanism, a gooseneck hitch, or any other hitch prone to sharp turning or jackknifing during reverse when towing.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A display device is configured to be mounted in an indoor space of a vehicle and to change a display area. The display device includes a first frame having a first end configured to be coupled to an interior member of the vehicle, a second frame having a first end coupled to a second end of the first frame, and a flexible display disposed at a first surface of the first frame and a first surface of the second frame. The second frame is configured to rotate about the second end of the first frame, and the flexible display is configured to fold to allow the first surface of the first frame to face the first surface of the second frame.
Rotationally limited connection system
A rotationally limited connection system that includes a first mount to hold an object or couple with an object, a first ferromagnetic coupling element that includes a material attracted to a magnet or wherein the material includes the magnet, an a first mechanical coupling element. The first mechanical coupling element includes at least one protrusion to limit rotation of the first mount with respect to another object in 90 degrees increments. The first mount is coupled with the first ferromagnetic coupling element and the first mechanical coupling element.
Utility hook assembly with hidden magnetic latch
A utility hook assembly is disclosed that conveniently secures to a planar surface such as the bottom of a counter or cabinet, and has a plurality of hooks that extend perpendicular to a mounting base. The base includes on an outer surface a fixed bracket with a pair of eyelets that are collinear at an edge of the mounting bracket. The eyelets each receive one end of a suspended hook member such that the suspended hook members can swing/pivot about their respective eyelet in separate but parallel vertical planes. The opposite ends of the hook members are collinear and laterally extended in opposite directions. Disposed on an inner surface of the base is one or more magnets positioned above the intersection of the opposite ends of the hook members and the base when the hook members are fully rotated parallel to the base. The magnets allow the hooks to attach to the base without any other mechanical attachments, providing a simple and reliable attachment mode for the utility hooks.
MAGNETIC MOUNT SYSTEM
A magnetic mounting system is provided. The system includes a device having a magnetic attachment feature and a magnetic device mount. The magnetic device mount has a mating magnetic attachment feature. The magnetic attachment feature and mating magnetic attachment feature allow specific angular, radial, and/or longitudinal alignment of the device relative to the mount without a mechanical interface. An electronic device holder and charging system with integrated charging and data transfer interface and a self-aligning, magnetic coupling and docking interface with on-demand decoupling feature are also disclosed.
CRASH-READY, PORTABLE, COMPARTMENTALIZATION DEVICE
A crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may include a shell which includes a first half shell and a second half shell. The first half shell and the second half shell may have substantially similar dimensions and define an interior space and an exterior space. One or more pouches may be removably coupled to the shell in the interior space. The crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may be relocated throughout the interior of an emergency vehicle when used with an equipment mounting system or taken to the field for use away from the emergency vehicle. The individual pouches may also be removed and replaced with stocked pouches to replenish the crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device.
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND GUIDANCE SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the I/G unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.
Removable device stand
The systems and methods provided herein are directed to a stand for a mobile device. The stand may include an assembly of magnets, and a mirrored assembly of magnets are included in or attached to the mobile device. Some magnets in each assembly are reversed in polarity relative to other magnets. The assemblies have rotational symmetry of degree 4 so that the mobile device may be attached in any of the four cardinal orientations to the stand.
Device, method, and graphical user interface for starting application
A preset application or an application determined by an electronic device based on a preset rule is automatically started when it is detected that an electronic device is attached onto a vehicle magnetic suction bracket. Therefore, the electronic device can automatically respond to an operation of attaching the electronic device onto the vehicle magnetic suction bracket by a user.
