Hands-free mount for mobile devices
A hands-free mount for a mobile device. An example hands-free mount includes a first magnetic attachment for combining with the mobile device, and a second mating magnetic attachment for combining with the first magnetic attachment. In an example, the hands-free mount includes a housing for the second mating magnetic attachment. A strap may be fitted through the opening in the housing to secure the housing to an object for attaching the mobile device to the object via magnetic connection of the first magnetic attachment on the mobile device to the second mating magnetic attachment of the housing. An example hands-free mount may also include a kickstand on the housing. The kickstand in the open position supports the mobile device in a substantially upright position. The kickstand folds into the closed position for carrying the mobile device.
Document storage device
A document storage device for staging documents for presentation to a law enforcement officer includes a first panel and a plurality of second panels. A first coupler is coupled to a back of the first panel and is configured to selectively and removably couple the first panel to a surface of a vehicle, such as a visor and a window edge. Each second panel has opposing edges and a bottom edge that are coupled to a front of the first panel to define a plurality of pouches. A top of each pouch is configured to insert a respective document, such as a driver's license, proof-of-insurance, vehicle registration, and other permits, into the pouch. The pouch is readily repositioned from the visor of the vehicle to an edge of the driver's window in event the driver is pulled over by the law enforcement officer.
EASY INSTALLING AND DISASSEMBLING VEHICLE MONITORING DEVICE
The present application discloses an easy installing and disassembling vehicle monitoring device, which includes a board, a signal input device, a communication module, magnetic members, and a battery for powering the signal input device and the communication module. The board equipped with the signal input device, the communication module, and the battery may be directly attached to the housing of a vehicle through the magnetic members, thus punching holes in the vehicle is avoided, and installation and disassembly of the vehicle monitoring device is greatly facilitated. There is no restriction on installation positions, so the monitoring scope is greatly increased, and an improved driving safety may be achieved. The communication module sends the information collected by the signal input device to smart terminals through wireless network, thus no complicated wiring is needed, making the installation and disassembly of the monitoring device much easier, and simultaneously achieving remote monitoring.

TEMPORARY, MAGNETIC LICENSE PLATE HOLDER DEVICE
A license plate holder device for temporarily securing a plate, for example a vehicle dealer license plate, to a vehicle, in particular to existing license plate hardware such as bolts or screws having heads. The license plate holder device temporary attachment mechanism is two-fold, providing both a magnetic connection to the existing license plate hardware and a physical contact with the existing hardware that supports against a shearing force substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hardware.
Adjustable electronic device mount
A mount for an electronic device, including two attachment plates on either end, both secured to a joint, so as to articulatably attach the mount to a surface on one end and an electronic device on the other end.
Systems and methods for an adjustable electronic device holder
A system for holding an electronic device includes a body portion, the body portion having a flat surface. The system further includes a first holding piece and a second holding piece, each of the first and second holding pieces including a holding surface approximately perpendicular to the flat surface. The system further includes an arm interconnected with the first holding piece, the arm extending into an aperture in the body portion, the body portion including a mechanism for holding the arm in a first fixed position such that there is a first distance between the first and second holding pieces, the mechanism further providing for orientation of the arm in a second fixed position such that there is a second distance between the first and second holding pieces, the second distance less than the first, the first and second holding pieces being complementarily shaped to hold the electronic device.
Device holder systems for motor vehicles
A portable device holder 20 for use in a motor vehicle and mounted in a gap between a steering column and a lower dashboard of the motor vehicle and can comprise a removable attachment means 21 with an attachment panel 24, a pivotal hinge 22 and a portable device support means 25. The portable device support means 25 can comprise a magnetic connector 27 for providing a removable mounting means for a smartphone or other portable device. The pivotal hinge 22 can pivotally connect the removable attachment means 21 and the portable device support means 25 so that the portable device support means 25 can pivot to a stowed position and an operational position.
Magnetic quick mounting unit for construction machines, method, and construction machine having such a quick mounting unit
The present invention relates to a magnetic quick mounting unit for construction machines, particularly road pavers, having a positioning mark configured for permanent attachment to a construction machine, an attachment device which can be magnetically attached on the positioning mark, an alignment mark arranged on the attachment device and indicating the alignment of the attachment device, and an alignment aid arranged on the positioning mark, the alignment mark and the alignment aid being configured such that the alignment of the attachment device relative to the construction machine can be read from the relative position of the alignment mark to the alignment aid when the attachment device has been attached on the positioning mark. The present invention further relates to a method for magnetic quick-mounting of an attachment device, particularly a camera, to a construction machine, particularly a road paver, comprising the steps of: attaching a positioning mark with an alignment aid on the construction machine; attaching an alignment mark on the attachment device; magnetically attaching the attachment device on the positioning mark; and aligning the attachment device by means of the relative positions of the alignment aid and the alignment mark. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a construction machine having such a magnetic quick mounting unit.
HIGH RELIABILITY, HIGH PRECISION, RELEASABLE MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A releasable mounting system and method for semi-permanently attaching to a ferrous material surface, comprising a base assembly having a plurality of magnetic-assisted suction cup (MASC) mounting assemblies connected to a base plate for semi-permanently attaching to the ferrous material surface. Each MASC mounting assembly has a suction cup and at least one magnet providing additional fixturing of the base assembly to the ferrous material surface. The system may include a rooftop assembly comprising a shell and a pivotally mounted mast assembly biased in an upright position. The rooftop assembly on a vehicle rooftop may include sensors providing information to a computer inside the vehicle, including information with respect to the orientation of the mast on top of the vehicle during a mobile survey. All of the data gathered from the rooftop assembly may be wirelessly communicated to the computer inside the vehicle.
