The at least one strap can be located in the second section and can be implemented to secure the pairs of skis to the ski rack.

The cables may include widened portions that fit within widened portions of slots defined in the tensioning blocks. The mounting blocks and tensioning blocks may be identical but used differently. The mounting blocks may define openings for receiving straps securing items to the mounting blocks. Straps may be used in the place of cables and a pouch secured to the mounting blocks using other structures on the mounting blocks.

The horizontal segments as well as the pole sleeves include an attachment portion for bumpers to be mounted to. The bumpers help level the rack assembly as well as protect the present invention and vehicle from damage while the vehicle is in motion. Also disclosed is a light assembly that is capable of illuminating face plates from the interior or exterior.

Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a heads-up display visor for a vehicle, such as an automobile, to provide driver assistance information to the driver. Features include a display screen that is sized and positioned relative to the driver's conventional sun visor, so as to eliminate the need to project images onto the windshield and/or to have a projector located on the vehicle dashboard. In certain embodiments, the heads-up display visor is portable, and is affixed to the driver's conventional sun visor by a clip, thereby allowing a driver to move the device from one vehicle to another.

Vehicle identification and guidance systems and associated methods

Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the I/G unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.

The vehicle air vent clamping device includes a base, a supporting arm, a hook for hooking a blade of a vehicle air vent, and an adjustment mechanism for driving the hook to move. The rear end of the supporting arm is connected to the base, and a blocking portion is disposed at the front end of the supporting arm. The hook can be located on the supporting arm in a front-rear movement manner, and when the hook moves to the position of the blocking portion, the hook is hidden in the blocking portion. The adjustment mechanism is connected between the base and the hook.
