VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND GUIDANCE SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the JIG unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.
MESSAGING PRODUCT HOLDER WITH ATTACHMENT MEANS FOR USE INSIDE A PASSENGER VEHICLE, AND PREFERABLY ON A SUN VISOR INSIDE THE VEHICLE
A method and an apparatus for a messaging product holder to be used inside a passenger vehicle, configured to include therein/thereon multiple messaging areas, so that no matter which location in the vehicle an occupant has attached the holder or whatever one of a plurality of orientations that the location may have, one or more of the messaging areas is always visible or exposed to an occupant of the vehicle.
Support Plates and Systems for Supporting a Liquid Dispenser Assembly, and Liquid Dispenser Apparatuses
Herein provided is a support plate that is configured for supporting a liquid dispenser assembly, wherein a first side of the support plate includes a lever lock system configured to attach to an air vent of a vehicle; the lever lock system including: a rod protruding from the first side of the support plate; a hook at an end of the rod remote from the support plate; a spring that is compressible along the rod towards the support plate; and a bracket member, wherein the bracket member may be moved along the rod towards and away from the support plate, between an open position wherein the spring is compressed and the bracket member is distant from the hook, and a closed position wherein the bracket member is pushed towards the hook by the spring, further provided herein is a support system that is configured for supporting a liquid dispenser assembly and includes a lock system configured to attach to a headrest of a vehicle.
BRACKET FOR A PILLAR ASSEMBLY
A bracket for a display assembly includes a body that has a first edge and a second edge that define a first surface and a second surface of the body. An elongated retention feature is coupled to the first edge of the body and defines an elongated slot proximate to the first surface of the body. A plurality of retention clips are coupled to the second edge of the body. Each of the plurality of retention clips define a slot proximate to the first surface of the body. At least one housing is coupled to the second surface of the body and defines locking apertures. At least one cap is selectively coupled to the at least one housing. The at least one cap defines locking features selectively disposed within the locking apertures that are defined by the at least one housing.
Bicycle rack
A bicycle rack configured to mount to a luggage rack on a vehicle and comprising a front wheel support and a frame support. The front wheel support comprises a first pair of elongate members configured to couple to the luggage rack, the first pair of elongate members each having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the distal ends of the first pair of elongate members each comprise a U-shaped recess for supporting the front wheel of the bicycle. The frame support comprises an elongate main body having two opposed ends, a forks mount configured to couple to one of the opposed ends of the main body and to removably couple to the front forks of the bicycle, a rear frame support coupled the other opposed end of the main body, and a first support bracket configured to couple the main body to the luggage rack.
Externally-Mounted Oscillating Display Apparatus And Methods Of Use Thereof
The invention includes a novel oscillating display device, system, and assembly configured to be mounted to an external surface and allow dynamic oscillation movement of a personalized display in response to an external force, such as air flow generated by the movement of a vehicle, while maintaining the display in an approximately horizontal position relative to an external viewer. The oscillating display of the invention may further include one or more marketing messages or advertisements to be displayed to a viewer.
Apparatus for Fixing a Display Device on a Steering Element
An apparatus for fixing a device, in particular in the form of a display device, to an element, in particular to a handlebar of a single-lane vehicle, is disclosed. The apparatus includes a holding device, which is fixed to the element in a closed state. The apparatus further includes a fixing device, which is arranged on the holding device and which is configured to fix the device. And by way of a fixing element which is arranged jointly, in particular releasably, the holding device can be held in a closed state and the device is fixed to the fixing device.
Retaining assembly to attach one or more mobile devices to a mobile object
A retaining assembly to attach one or more mobile devices to a mobile object. The retaining assembly may include a mounting plate that attaches to the mobile object by way of a mounting bracket or scorecard clip-on. The mounting bracket provides dovetails for selecting engaging the mounting plate in different orientations. The mounting plate facilitates various magnetized components to removably attach to the mobile device. If the mobile device has a third-party extensible grip, a retaining ring may be employed to attach the mobile device or the extensible grip modified to one of the various magnetized components.
Mounting assembly for an exterior attachment device, rearview device and motor vehicle
A mounting assembly for an attachment device of a vehicle includes receiving or holding means on a rearview device of the vehicle, the receiving or holding means being adapted so that the attachment device can be fixed by means of at least one fixing means of the attachment device in operative connection with at least one complementary fixing means of the receiving or holding means, where at least one of the at least one fixing means of the attachment device or the receiving or holding means is configured to be in operative connection, where after fixation, the attachment device cannot be released from the fixing means without destruction, and at least one of the at least one fixing means of the attachment device or the complementary fixing means of the receiving or holding means includes at least one of a clip, an undercut and a latch.
CLAMP ASSEMBLY FOR MOUNTING A MOBILE DEVICE
A clamp assembly may include an upper clamp member and a lower clamp member removably coupled to the upper clamp member. The upper clamp member may include a first projection extending from a lower surface thereof. The first projection may be configured to be at least partially received in a complementary opening of a mounting member. The lower clamp member may be removably coupled to the upper clamp member. The lower clamp member may include a second projection extending from an upper surface thereof. The second projection may be configured to be at least partially received in the complementary opening. The first projection and the second projection may be configured to substantially impede rotation of the clamp assembly relative to the mounting member.
