VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND GUIDANCE SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the JIG unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.
Vehicle windshield camera module
A camera module, which is mounted on an inside of a front windshield of a vehicle and to image an external environment of the vehicle, includes a lens unit and an imager to image the external environment by forming an optical image, which is from the external environment through the lens unit.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY OF A VEHICLE INTERIOR MIRROR OR OTHER PANE ADD-ON PART
A mounting assembly of a vehicle interior mirror or other pane add-on part, includes a pane adhesive element, shaped in a substantially plate-shaped or disc-shaped manner and having a free first surface designed as an adhesive surface for fastening the mounting assembly to the inner-side of a vehicle pane and a second surface and a mirror mount, having a first end face, on which the pane adhesive element is seated with the second surface thereof, and a second end face designed for mounting a housing of the vehicle interior mirror or add-on part, wherein the pane adhesive element has the shape of a flat truncated cone or a flat pyramid such that the second surface is smaller than the free first surface.
Camera mounting structure
A camera mounting structure includes: a bracket that is attached to a vehicle upper side of an inner surface of a front windshield glass; a camera that is supported by the bracket and detects information about the surroundings of a vehicle; and an angle-of-view hood member that has a fastening portion fastened to the bracket and a catch portion caught on the bracket and is disposed on a vehicle front lower side of a lens of the camera.
Permanent Semi Truck and RV Reversing Camera Apparatus
A permanent semi-truck and RV reversing camera apparatus is for assisting tractor trailer and towed RV drivers while backing up to a park space or freight doors. The apparatus house a camera body that includes a wide-angle lens which communicate with an embedded transmitter that streams live video to an app enabled personal electronic device. The apparatus also includes a light emitting diode (LED) projector that contain a physical toggle switch, on-off bases, to be selectively engaged when is needed while backing up at night. The apparatus operation and usage may depend on the hardwiring linkage of the camera and LED wires to the side marker light of the Semi-trailer or towed RV, to be supplied with direct current power (DC) circuit; the camera and LED positive wires may be merged at the marker light positive pole, and the negative wires will meet at the ground pole of the trailer marker light. A fiberglass sheet equipped with industrial glue is used to mount the apparatus: the front side of the sheet may stick firmly to the apparatus, while the back side of the sheet is used to mount it on the lower right corner of the semi-trailer or RV surface.
The invention is specially designed for semi-trucks/trailers, also known as 18 wheelers that use 5th wheel and is intended to fundamentally help the drivers while reversing angularly by viewing clearly the trailer's right end corner that is totally blind; the invention also would not interfere with opening or closing of the trailer door because it will be mounted on or near the taillight unit, far underneath the trailer door. Similarly, the invention is also specifically designed for long-towed RVs that use 5th wheel, gooseneck hitch, or other hitches that bends the two-piece combination vehicle angularly during a reverse. Thus, the invention is designed to eliminate the total blind spot located on the right-end and lower corner of the long-towed vehicles.
The invention must be filed to the US patent office specifically for long-towed combination vehicles, especially semi-tractor/trailers and long towed RVs; a combination vehicle that operate and use 5th wheel mechanism, gooseneck hitch or any other towing hooks. Although the invention may be used on a straight truck or other one-piece RV, however, it is not specifically designed and or to be patented for such vehicles.
SOUND GENERATING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLES AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A sound generating apparatus for vehicles may include a sound generating device to be covered by a vehicle interior material of a vehicle. The sound generating device may be configured to vibrate the vehicle interior material. A vehicle including the sound generating apparatus for vehicles may include a vehicle interior material, covering a vehicle structure, and at least one sound generating apparatus disposed at the vehicle interior material. The vehicle interior material may vibrate according to a vibration of the sound generating apparatus to output a sound.
Bag Holder Card for Vehicles
A Bag Holder Card for organizing and keeping clean transportation vehicles by inserting a card in between the seat and the center console that has a device that will hold trash receptacles, or other objects, also to contain items in a pouch such as writing tools. The Bag Holder Card generally includes A stable unsecured trash bag support comprising: a support member sufficiently slender so as to fit between a motor vehicle seat and the center console of said vehicle; a stabilizer piece attached to the top portion of said support member sufficient to prevent movement of the support member during traffic; a bag attachment member connected to the forward portion of the support member for the attachment of a trash bag or other item.
Attachment Solution For Attaching A Visual Media Display To A Vehicle
An attachment apparatus for attaching an electronic media display unit to a vehicle has a containing arrangement that goes over a portion or a whole of the electronic media display unit, and an adhesive arrangement to facilitate adhering the attachment apparatus, and thus facilitate attaching the electronic media display unit to an outside of the vehicle. A portion or a whole of the adhesive arrangement adheres to the outside of the vehicle, outside a portion or a whole of a perimeter of the electronic media display unit, to facilitate attachment.
Ski rack for interior of vehicle
A ski rack configured for an interior of a vehicle is described. Embodiments of the ski rack include a main body and at least one strap. The ski rack can be adapted to secure to a backside of a rear seat in a vehicle and receive one or more pairs of skis thereon. The main body of the ski rack can include a front section sloping up to a second flat section. The at least one strap can be located in the second section and can be implemented to secure the pairs of skis to the ski rack.
