Attachments, attachment hardware for securing attachments to a window frame of a vehicle and related methods are disclosed herein. The attachment hardware for securing a mountable product to a window frame for a windshield of a vehicle can comprise a nut and a T-shaped washer comprising a top cross-bar section and a stem section extending downward from the top cross-bar section. The T-shaped washer can have a washer aperture therethrough. The attachment hardware can also comprise a fastener side washer having a washer aperture therethrough and a threaded fastener configured for insertion through the washer aperture of the fastener side washer and the washer aperture of the T-shaped washer and for screwingly engaging the nut. The top cross-bar section and the stem section of the T-shaped washer can be configured to fit through an engagement aperture in a tab extending from a frame of a windshield when turned at an angle to the engagement aperture and have a shape that contacts an upper wall of the tab that defines the engagement aperture when the threaded fastener is tightened in the nut.
ITEM FIXTURE, HANDLE, METHOD OF ATTACHING MEASURING APPARATUS TO VEHICLE, AND MOBILE MEASURING APPARATUS
An item fixture, a handle, a method of attaching a measuring apparatus to a vehicle, and a mobile measuring apparatus. The item fixture includes a fixation member to be attached to an attachment portion of a vehicle, and a handle attachment portion to which a handle used to attach the item fixture to the vehicle is to be detachably attached. The method of attaching a measuring apparatus to the vehicle includes attaching a pair of handles to an item fixture of the measuring apparatus, attaching the item fixture to an attachment portion of the vehicle, using the pair of handles as a handle of the item fixture, and detaching the pair of handles from the item fixture. The mobile measuring apparatus includes the vehicle, the item fixture attached to the vehicle, and a measuring device attached to the item fixture.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE
A device base which is part of a device main body includes a support fixing portion having a support member fixed thereto and the base main body portion which is the other portion of the support fixing portion. A preferential rupture portion is formed between the support fixing portion and the base main body portion. The rupture fixed portion having the support fixing portion fixed to the support member has a hook member attached thereto, which is formed with a metal plate having elasticity. A hooking portion at the front end of the hook member faces an inner side portion of the base main body portion. If the preferential rupture portion ruptures due to an impact force, the hooking portion is hooked to the inner side portion, and the device main body is prevented from falling down from the rupture fixed portion.
BRACKET ASSEMBLIES FOR DETACHABLY CONNECTING AUDIBLE VEHICLE ALERT SYSTEMS
This disclosure is directed to audible vehicle alert systems that include bracket assemblies for detachably mounting components of the audible vehicle alert systems to vehicles. Exemplary audible vehicle alert systems may include a first bracket, a second bracket detachably secured to the first bracket, and a speaker unit mounted to the second bracket. The second bracket may be disconnected from the first bracket during a servicing event for servicing the speaker unit or some other component of the audible vehicle alert system.
LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURAL MODULE ON THE ROOF OF A VEHICLE
A sensor pod module, that attaches to a vehicle, includes: a structural base, being adapted to a contour of a surface of the vehicle, including a first connector and a vehicle connector; a sensor housing including a second connector that form fits with the first connector; and a plurality of sensors disposed within the sensor housing. The structural base secures to the vehicle with the vehicle connector. The sensor housing interchangeably secures to the structural base by form fitting the second connector and first connector together.
ADJUSTABLE VEHICLE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
An adjustable vehicle luggage compartment attachment system comprises at least one bracket having a top end and a lower end. The top end receives a luggage compartment and the lower end mounts on the vehicle at the rear window or the trunk. At the top end of the bracket, at least one horizontal beam may be used to mount the luggage compartment. At the lower end the bracket may be releasably, fastenable and removeable from the vehicle and said luggage compartment using attachment mechanism such as a suction cup or other soft releasably, removeable attachment mechanism. The bracket may be static or expandable vertically, horizontally or both.
Accessory Mounting System for Vehicles
The present disclosure describes an accessory mounting system for vehicles. The mounting system is reconfigurable between collapsed and expanded configurations, and includes first and second brackets. The first bracket is configured for releasable connection to a vehicle (e.g., via a utility track), and the second bracket is movably connected to the first bracket and configured to support an accessory, such as a speaker, a television, a monitor or other such display, and the like. The first bracket includes a rotatable locking mechanism that is engageable with the second bracket, as well as at least one fastener that is configured to releasably engage the vehicle (e.g., the utility track). The at least one fastener is positioned between the first and second brackets such that the at least one fastener is inaccessible when the mounting system is in the collapsed configuration.
CARRIER ASSEMBLY FOR TRANSPORTING HAND TRUCKS
A carrier assembly for transporting one or more hand trucks includes a platform having an upper surface configured to support a hand truck, a mount configured to couple the platform to a vehicle such that the upper surface of the platform is positioned to support the hand truck at a first elevation, a support extending generally perpendicular to the upper surface of the platform, and a retainer extending generally parallel to the upper surface of the platform. The support and retainer are each configured to restrict a movement of the hand truck when the hand truck is supported at the first elevation. The retainer is moveable between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration.
Floating Ring Pointer Assembly
Systems and methods are disclosed and include an instrument cluster assembly, which includes a printed circuit board (PCB). A first motor assembly is coupled to the PCB, and the first motor assembly is configured to drive a first screw. A second motor assembly is coupled to the PCB, and the second motor assembly is configured to drive a second screw. The instrument cluster assembly includes a floating ring pointer assembly, and at least one of a position and an orientation of the floating ring pointer assembly is configured to be adjusted in response to at least one of the first motor assembly and the second motor assembly driving the first screw and the second screw, respectively.
