CARTRIDGE FOR USE WITH AFTERMARKET VEHICLE COMPONENT
An aftermarket vehicle head unit integration cartridge for use with an aftermarket head unit is provided. The aftermarket head unit preferably includes a dedicated slot for insertion of the cartridge. The cartridge preferably supports communication between a plurality of electronic components in the aftermarket head unit and a plurality of electronic components in the vehicle. The plurality of electronic components in the aftermarket head unit may include, for example, an audio processing system, a video processing system, an analog I/O and/or a digital I/O. and/or a plurality of electronic components. The plurality of electronic components in the vehicle may include an audio system, an analog I/O, a digital I/O/databus, and/or a steering wheel control unit. The cartridge may include a flashable memory for use in reconfiguring the cartridge. The cartridge may be configured to capture and condition the signals from at least one of the plurality of the vehicle-based electronic components. The conditioned signals from the vehicle-based electronic components may be conditioned for use by the aftermarket head unit.
MAGNETICALLY COUPLED WALLET ACCESSORY FOR MOBILE DEVICE
A wallet for attachment to a mobile device. The wallet has a body defining a compartment and a device side surface. The wallet has a first arrangement of magnetic material with a first region exposing a first polarity magnetic field at the device side surface and a second adjacent region exposing an opposite polarity magnetic field at the device side surface. The wallet also has a second arrangement of magnetic material with a first region exposing a first polarity magnetic field at the device side surface and a second adjacent region exposing an opposite polarity magnetic field at the device side surface. Collectively, the first and second arrangements, in use, magnetically couple the accessory to a mobile device and cause the accessory to adopt a specific orientation on the mobile device.
Video display system for vehicle
A video display system for a vehicle includes a video display device disposed in the vehicle so as to be viewable by a driver of the vehicle. A camera is disposed at the vehicle and having an exterior field of view and operable to capture image data. A control includes a data processor. The control, responsive at least in part to processing by the data processor of captured image data, detects an object present exterior of the vehicle that is in the field of view of the camera, and determines if the detected object constitutes a hazardous condition. Responsive to determination of the hazardous condition, the control controls the video display device to automatically display an alert to the driver of the vehicle, with the alert including display of video images of the object that are derived from captured image data or a graphic overlay on displayed video images.
Footwear storage rack for vehicle trunk
The footwear storage for a vehicle trunk is a mechanical structure. The footwear storage for a vehicle trunk is configured for use in storing footwear and other articles. The footwear storage for a vehicle trunk is contained in the trunk of the automobile. The footwear storage for a vehicle trunk is formed with a cant. The cant forms an angle between the supporting storage surfaces formed by the footwear storage for a vehicle trunk and the force of gravity. The cant is selected such that objects will not slide out of the footwear storage for a vehicle trunk during the acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle. The footwear storage for a vehicle trunk comprises a master pan, a plurality of footwear pocket structures, and a storage pan. Each of the plurality of footwear pocket structures mount on the master pan. The storage pan is contained within the master pan.
MOBILE DEVICE HOLDER CONFIGURED TO POSITION IN A CUP HOLDER
A mobile device holder may include a body having a base member with a flexibly resilient wall. A support structure may have a pair of arms that extend outward from the base member. The arms may be configured to move relative to one another between a retracted position and an expended position. Each arm may include an upper flange positioned at an outer end of the arm to retain a mobile device.
Reconfigurable system for adjustable support structure anchored to cup holder onboard vehicle
A reconfigurable system provides for adjustable support of a personal article of a user in a manner releasably anchored to a built in cup holder receptacle onboard a vehicle. A base portion fits within and substantially fills the cup holder receptacle. The base portion defines an internal bore formed to extending axially therein. A frame portion engages the internal bore of the base portion to extend longitudinally upward therefrom. The frame portion includes at least first and second sections telescopically coupled to one another for axial relative displacement in releasably locked manner. The first and second sections are mutually locked against angular displacement relative to one another during use, with one of the first and second sections defining an attachment end. One of a plurality of modular holder portions is coupled to the attachment end of the frame portion to define a support surface for the personal article.
Bicycle carrier
A bicycle carrier is provided, including a main rod, two lateral rods, a middle rod and a base. The two lateral rods are disposed on two sides of the main rod. The base is disposed on the main rod. The middle rod is swingable and foldable relative to the base when the middle rod is pressed downwardly relative to the base.
Package Stablizing Device
A package stabilizing device for use in transporting a package in a vehicle includes a bracket assembly that is configured to couple to an element of a vehicle so that an arm of the bracket assembly extends into an interior space of the vehicle. A sling is coupled to and extends from a distal limit of the arm. The sling is configured to position a package so that the package is suspended within the interior space. The sling is configured to swing within the interior space to diminish forces that are applied to contents of the package as the vehicle traverses an uneven surface, accelerates, brakes, and turns.
Heavy duty magnet mount
A mount for an electronic device includes a ferromagnetic element securable to the electronic device, and a mount body including a face plate and at least one leg, the magnet secured in the face plate, and the at least one leg movable from a stored position to a support position. The stored position is flush with the face plate, and the support position is normal to the face plate. The magnet and ferromagnetic element combine with the leg in it support position to allow reliable mounting of heavy and/or oversized electronic devices.
Center console and electronic operating system for a vehicle
A vehicle has a driver's position, a passenger position and a center console which is arranged between the driver's position and the passenger position. The center console includes an antenna which is designed to establish a wireless, radio-based near-field communication link.
