Package Stablizing Device
A package stabilizing device for use in transporting a package in a vehicle includes a bracket assembly that is configured to couple to an element of a vehicle so that an arm of the bracket assembly extends into an interior space of the vehicle. A sling is coupled to and extends from a distal limit of the arm. The sling is configured to position a package so that the package is suspended within the interior space. The sling is configured to swing within the interior space to diminish forces that are applied to contents of the package as the vehicle traverses an uneven surface, accelerates, brakes, and turns.
SWIVELING RACK FOR LAWN EQUIPMENT
A rack for a backpack-type lawn tool is provided, comprising a base member having an upper side and lower side, wherein the lower side includes a swivel device attached to the lower side; a mounting member attached to the swivel device, wherein the mounting member is adapted to mount to a frame of a vehicle or stationary object at a height which is near the height of the tool when worn on the user, and wherein the base is rotatable relative to the frame between a storage position and an operation position; and a container adapted to retain a backpack-type lawn tool, wherein the container is attached to the base member and includes a floor and at least one side member extending upwardly from the floor. The rack may further include a locking device disposed between the base member and the frame which restricts or permits rotation of the base member relative to the frame.
PHYSICALLY SECURED DEVICE FOR VEHICLE INTRUSION DETECTION
A vehicle theft-prevention apparatus can include a locking mechanism with an engagement component. The locking mechanism can be engaged via a first action to apply a force on the vehicle when in an engaged state. The locking mechanism can disengage, via a second action, to withdraw the force from the vehicle when in the engaged state. The locking mechanism can maintain a current state of the force in response to the first action and the second action when in a disengaged state. One or more computing devices can receive a command to enable or disable the locking mechanism. In response to receiving the command, the computing device can cause the engagement component to transition the locking mechanism from the disengaged state to the engaged state or from an engaged state to a disengaged state.
Interposable magnetically coupled devices
A mobile device accessory system including a first accessory device having a first front side and a first back side. The first accessory device has a first plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the first front side and a second plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the first back side. A second accessory device having a second front side and a second back side, the second accessory device having a third plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the second front side and a fourth plurality of alternating polarity magnets on the second back side. The first accessory device is arranged to magnetically couple to a device-side attachment associated with a mobile device and is interposed between the device-side attachment and the second accessory device.
Vehicle or bike mount for electronic devices
An apparatus for mounting an electronic device includes a case for the electronic device; an attachment portion, formed on the case, having a groove; and a mount constructed to be attachable to a bicycle or a vehicle. The mount includes a locking cap having a protrusion; a rotatable cap having a tab groove wherein the rotatable cap is rotatable with respect to the locking cap; a biased switch having a tab wherein the tab is biased toward the rotatable cap. Here, the tab groove includes an opening and a groove is broadly defined to include an opening. The mount is attachable to the attachment portion by inserting the protrusion of the locking cap into the groove of the attachment portion and rotating the attachment portion or the locking cap with respect to each other.
Automobile access and intrusion detection
A vehicle theft-prevention apparatus can include at least one computing device coupled to a first sensor and a second sensor that are configured to sense a first and a second type of measurement in a vehicle, respectively. The at least on computing device can be configured to read a plurality of measurements of the first type of measurement from the first sensor at a predetermined frequency. In response to one of the plurality of measurements exceeding a predetermined threshold, the at least one computing device can read at least one measurement from the second sensor. Based on the at least one measurement from the second sensor, the at least one computing device can determine that a person has entered the vehicle.
Physically secured device for vehicle intrusion detection
A vehicle theft-prevention apparatus can include a slip clutch mechanism, a locking mechanism, and a cylindrical body including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion can be configured to rotate about the second portion. The locking mechanism can be configured to engage based on rotation of the first portion relative to the second portion in a first direction, and disengage based on a rotation of the first portion relative to the second portion in a second direction. The slip clutch mechanism can be configured to prevent the locking mechanism from further engaging from rotation in the first direction relative to the second portion based on a magnitude of force applied.
HEADREST COVER HOLDER SYSTEM
A cover for a vehicle seat headrest includes one opening to accommodate a protuberance at the front of the headrest, such as a protuberant cushion or pillow, and another opening at the rear to permit access to a passenger behind the vehicle seat to access or view items attached to, or stored within, the rear of the headrest.
Accessory Pocket with Resilient Arm
A vehicle accessory has an arm extending from a pocket. The arm preferably has sides which can flex and then push outwardly to assist in mechanical retention between seats of a vehicle to locate the pocket in front of a seat. The pocket may have at least three sides extending upwardly relative to a bottom, if not more, and accessory may be manufactured from a single planar sheet bent to shape.
