Grip pad
A grip pad holds items, such as a mobile device or cell phone, to a support surface, such as a dashboard of a vehicle. The grip pad has a tacky bottom surface to releasably cling to the dashboard, and a tacky top surface to releasably cling to the cell phone. In addition, the grip pad can conform to a contour of the dashboard. The grip pad can have a bottom layer that is flexible to bend to an arcuate shape to match the dashboard.
Video-camera device for a motor vehicle and assembly method
A video-camera device comprises a motherboard, and a daughterboard comprising a video-camera module the optical axis of which is perpendicular to a main plane of the daughterboard. The motherboard includes a rigid main segment comprising image-processing electronic components. The motherboard including a secondary segment made of the same material as, and integrally formed with, the main segment. The secondary segment is partially surrounded by a void. The secondary segment has a rectilinear border defining the junction between the main segment and the secondary segment. The rectilinear border defines a pivot axis of the secondary segment. The daughterboard is mounted perpendicularly on the secondary segment in such a way that the secondary segment is inclinable relative to the surface of the main segment about the pivot axis in order to allow the angle of inclination between the optical axis of the video-camera module and the main segment to be adjusted.
Fixed angle car mount for a mobile device
A mount for a mobile device on an internal display screen of an automobile. A housing defines a volume and has a device side attachment surface and a back surface. The housing also has an attachment extension to couple to the internal display such that the device side attachment surface has a permanently fixed orientation relative to the attachment extension. The housing contains a wireless charger and a first arrangement of magnetic material. The magnetic material exposes a pattern of magnetic fields at the device side attachment surface. The attachment extension has a display screen coupling surface with an arcuate contour that substantially mates with a contour of the internal display screen.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING DISPLAY PANEL
A display apparatus includes: an object (5) having a plane or a curved face; a display panel (3) forming at least one of a concave portion (3a) and a convex portion at any one of a peripheral edges; a holding member (1) mounted in a predetermined location of the object (5), and having a convex portion (1a) or a concave portion which corresponds to the concave portion or the convex portion of the display panel (3), in which the concave portion (3a) or the convex portion of the display panel (3) is engaged with the convex portion (1a) or the concave portion of the holding member; and a weak adhesive layer which is interposed between the object (5) and the display panel (3) to bring the object (5) and the display panel (1) into close contact with each other.
MOTOR AND UTILITY VEHICLE SUPPORTING DEVICE
Described is a motor and utility vehicle supporting device for a tail lift, a side wall, an access ramp, and/or the bed of a motor and utility vehicle, comprising: a support layer having a first surface and a second surface. The support layer comprises a lightweight board, a top coating placed on the first surface, said top coating comprising polyurethane, polyurea and/or epoxy resin, and an adhesive fixing element which is arranged on the second surface.
Mobile device holder
A mobile device holder comprises a base having an inner side to be affixed to the mobile device. A hub is carried by the base and is rotatable on the base about a rotational axis. A rotational bearing rotatably couples the hub to the base. A ring is carried by the hub and is pivotally coupled to the hub about a pivot axis that is orthogonal to the rotational axis. The ring is rotatable along with the hub on the base. In addition, the ring is pivotable with respect to the hub between at least a retracted position circumscribing the hub, and a deployed position extending at an acute angle with respect to the hub. The hub has an exterior side with indicia thereon.
VEHICLE CAMERA SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A camera system for a vehicle includes a camera having a housing defining an interior space, a memory device in the interior space, a processor in the interior space coupled to the memory device, a lens exposed on an exterior of the housing, an image sensor in the interior space coupled to the memory device, and a sensor coupled to the processor. The camera system also includes an attachment mechanism configured to secure the camera system to the vehicle. The camera is configured to move between a closed position and an open position. The memory device includes instructions configured to cause the processor to determine the camera is in the open position in response to an output signal by the sensor, and to cause the camera system to record the video captured by the image sensor in response to the camera being in the open position.
Device to prevent a computing unit from overheating
Disclosed is a device to be utilized in a vehicle to prevent a computing unit from overheating. The device includes a holder having a plurality of air vents, a plastic flexible hose, a shade, a reducer, and a plurality of alligator clips. The reducer is mounted on an air conditioning (AC) vent by utilizing the plurality of alligator clips. The holder includes a front portion and rear portion to accommodate the computing unit. The reducer is mounted in a way to guide the cool air to the plurality of air vents of the holder through the plastic flexible hose. The plurality of air vents is configured at a front portion of the holder to prevent the battery of the computing unit from overheating. Further, the shade is configured on a top portion of the holder to protect the computing unit from the sun.
The housing may contain a wireless charger and a first arrangement of magnetic material. The magnetic material exposes a pattern of magnetic fields at the device side attachment surface. The attachment extension has a display screen coupling surface with an arcuate contour that substantially mates with a contour of the internal display screen.
