VEHICLE SUBASSEMBLY AND METHOD
The invention relates to a subassembly for a vehicle, the subassembly comprising a chassis (50) assembly and a front body module (10). The front body module (10) is attachable to a forward portion of the chassis (50) assembly. The front body module includes a side portion (20) which extends outwardly beyond the chassis in a transverse direction. A stay (40) is provided which extends transversely outwardly from the chassis assembly (50) to support the side portion. One of the front body module (10) or the stay (40) is provided with a connecting member (30) which extends in a substantially longitudinal direction. The other of the stay (40) or front body module is provided with a corresponding longitudinally aligned aperture (42) for receiving the connecting member in use to support the side portion (20) of the front body module (10). A method of assembly is also disclosed.
MEGA ELONGATOR
A replacement tailgate for the purpose of elongating the pick up truck may be installed on a truck bed wherein the replacement tailgate can be unfolded in order to elongate a length of the truck bed. The replacement tailgate may have front and rear shells that are used to support objects placed in the truck bed as well as act as the new tailgate when the truck bed length is elongated. Various panels may be unfolded in order to trap objects within the truck bed when the replacement tailgate is unfolded in order to elongate the truck bed length.

Rear guard structure system
Provided is a rear guard structure system including: a chassis frame attached to the bottom of a vehicle; a plurality of guard stays having one ends hinge-coupled to chassis-frame hinges at both sides of the chassis frame through first hinges; and a rear guard attached to the other ends of the guard stays. A first stopper is mounted around the first hinge so as to restrict rotation of the guard stay, and includes a first buffer member to reduce shock or vibration when the rear guard is vertically vibrated.

Configurable bumper and method for constructing a bumper
A configurable bumper for a vehicle may include a center body, one or more telescoping end assemblies adapted to slide in a direction parallel to the axis of the center body and perpendicular to the axis of vehicle, and a locking mechanism for each telescoping end assembly. The telescoping end assemblies may be secured in at least two different axial positions on the center body. A method for manufacturing a bumper may include forming bumper components in near-net shape by a profile extrusion process and sizing to length.

Vehicle hood bumper
A hood bumper for a vehicle having a hood including: a housing having a wall, a base, an internal chamber, and an opening to the internal chamber. The wall having an interior surface and an exterior surface. the interior surface defines the internal chamber. The hood bumper further including a biasing mechanism operably connected to the housing and a plunger operably connected to the biasing mechanism and configured to receive an exerted force from the hood. The hood bumper further including a bumper head operably connected to the housing and a support frame operably connecting the bumper head to the housing. The plunger is configured to first move into the bumper head to absorb an impact force to the hood, next the bumper head compresses to further absorb the impact force, and then the support frame collapses to even further absorb the impact force.
