AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM OF VEHICLE AND AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT METHOD THEREOF
Provided are an airbag deployment system of a vehicle and an airbag deployment method thereof. The airbag deployment system includes a rear-viewable seat rotatably installed in a front row of the vehicle; a seat state detection unit configured to measure a rear-facing state, a current slide amount, and a backrest angle of the rear-viewable seat; a multiple-airbag unit that includes a first airbag installed in a backrest of the rear-viewable seat and configured to deploy rearward, and a second airbag installed in a dashboard; and a controller configured to, when a vehicle collision event occurs in the rear-facing state of the rear-viewable seat, calculate a distance between the dashboard and the backrest by using the current slide amount and the backrest angle, and selectively deploy at least one airbag according to a preset multiple-airbag deployment condition for each range based on the calculated distance.
AIRBAG WITH REINFORCED TETHER
An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant of a seat in a vehicle having an instrument panel and a housing positioned therein includes an airbag for positioning in the housing and defining an inflatable volume for receiving inflation fluid from an inflator. The airbag includes an occupant-facing panel. A tether extends along a centerline and has a first end connected to a portion of the airbag positioned within the housing and a second end connected to the occupant-facing panel for forming a pocket therein. The second end includes a folded-over portion. Stitching extends through the folded-over portion in a direction extending transverse to the centerline.

Airbag cushion for vehicle
An airbag cushion for a vehicle may include: a front panel disposed in a direction facing a passenger when the airbag cushion is inflated, and having a front sewed part formed along the edge thereof; and a rear panel coupled to the front panel so as to form a chamber therebetween, having a gas introduction hole to introduce gas into the chamber, and having a rear sewed part formed along the edge thereof, the rear sewed part being coupled to the front sewed part, wherein the rear sewed part has a curvature part formed in a curved shape at the portion coupled to the front sewed part.
Airbag with integrated air duct
An airbag assembly for a vehicle is provided that includes a housing coupled to the support structure of a vehicle. An airbag module is coupled to and supported by the housing. The airbag module includes an airbag deployable from an undeployed condition to a deployed condition, and an inflator configured to inflate the airbag from the undeployed condition to the deployed condition. An air duct that is configured to transmit an airflow is at least partially integrally coupled to the housing.

Airbag apparatus
[Problem] To provide an airbag apparatus in which the injury value of a passenger can be efficiently suppressed in an emergency. [Resolution Means] A typical configuration of an airbag apparatus 100 according to the present invention includes: an inflator 118 which is installed in a vehicle so as to be capable of supplying gas; an inner bag 112 which is expanded from in front of a seat utilizing the gas; and an outer bag 110 to which the gas is supplied from the inflator 118 or via the inner bag 112 and expanded so as to surround the inner bag 112. The outer bag 110 includes an opening 116 which exposes the inner bag 112 towards the seat 104, wherein the inner bag 112 has a more elongated shape in the anteroposterior direction of the vehicle than in the width direction of the vehicle, and the inner bag 112 further includes a restraining part 114 which is exposed on the recessed surface from the opening 116 to the seat side.
