VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A vehicle and control method include: a seat; an image acquirer to acquire an image of the seat; a first type of roof airbag module in a fixed position in a first area of a headlining; a rail member in a second area of the headlining in a left-right direction of a vehicle body; a second type of roof airbag module in the rail member and movable in left and right directions along the rail member; an angle detector to detect a rotation angle of the seat; and a controller. The controller identifies the seat rotation angle based on the image of the seat and controls activation of at least the first type of roof airbag module or the second type of roof airbag module based on at least the seat rotation angle based on the image of the seat or detected by the angle detector.
Airbag module for automotive vehicle
An airbag module for an automotive vehicle is disclosed. The airbag module comprises a folded inflatable airbag, a fastening element for mounting the airbag on the vehicle, a mounting jacket in which the folded airbag is received and fixed, as well as an elongate flexible holding strap for positioning the airbag in its deployed inflated state. The holding strap extends from a first strap end fastened on the airbag to an opposite second strap end to which the fastening element is attached. In the folded state of the airbag, the holding strap is connected to the mounting jacket or is received in the mounting jacket.

TRIM ELEMENT FOR A PILLAR OF A BODY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING A TRIM ELEMENT OF THIS TYPE
A trim element for a pillar of a body of a motor vehicle is described, in particular for an A pillar, having a main body; an outer side of the main body, which faces toward a vehicle interior in an installed state of the trim element on the pillar, an inner side of the main body, which faces toward the body in an installed state of the trim element on the pillar, a textile element covering the outer side having multiple edge sections folded over onto the inner side, and a bending section, which is formed in the main body, extending essentially along the longitudinal direction of the trim element; and a pivoting section of the main body extending along the bending section.
Airbag module and method of manufacturing said airbag module
The disclosure relates to an airbag module that comprises an inflatable airbag, an inflator for inflating the airbag and a plurality of securing units for attaching the airbag module to a vehicle. The airbag has a C-shaped configuration including two juxtaposed legs in an imaginary cross-sectional plane that is transverse to its longitudinal extension. The disclosed design of the airbag is configured to improve deployment behavior such that in a mounting situation of the airbag 10 a central plane defined between the two legs intersects a vertical plane extending through the longitudinal extension of the airbag. A manufacturing method for an airbag module is disclosed.

Airbag apparatus for vehicle
An airbag apparatus for a vehicle is capable of protecting a collision object while protecting the vehicle and an occupant. In particular, the airbag apparatus is installed in a fully autonomous vehicle in which the occupant's position and posture are variable. The airbag apparatus includes an inflator provided at a pillar of a vehicle body and configured to generate working gas, a housing mounted to the pillar of the vehicle body, a cushion part accommodated in the housing and configured to be inflated as being discharged from the housing by receiving the working gas generated from the inflator for covering the vehicle, and a tether part provided in the cushion part to determine a deployment shape of the cushion part.
CURTAIN AIRBAG
A curtain airbag capable of improving deployability of an airbag cushion without including a ramp component. The curtain airbag includes a main cushion, provided at an upper side of a pillar of a vehicle along a forward-and-rearward direction of the vehicle and configured to be deployed with inflation thereof, and a guide cushion, connected to a front area of an upper end portion of the main cushion and configured to extend toward a rear of the vehicle, the guide cushion pushing the main cushion toward an inside of the vehicle while being inflated together with the main cushion.
DEVICE FOR COUPLING CURTAIN AIRBAG TO VEHICLE BODY
A device for coupling a curtain airbag to a vehicle body, the device including a bracket made of a metallic material and having an upper end installed on a vehicle body and disposed adjacent to a roof of a vehicle, and a lower end extending downward and having a through-hole, and a connection tab having a lower end coupled to a curtain airbag, having a main body extending upward, and having an upper end extending upward, penetrating the through-hole of the bracket, and coupled to the main body.
