Curtain airbag deployment ramp with mounting tabs
A deployment ramp for helping to direct a curtain airbag to deploy inboard of a trim piece on a side structure of a vehicle includes a deployment flap for directing the curtain airbag to deploy inboard of the trim piece and a mounting portion configured to receive a fastener for connecting the deployment ramp and the curtain airbag to the vehicle. The mounting portion includes a pair of mounting tabs. Each mounting tab is configured to be installed in a corresponding sleeve in the curtain airbag to connect the deployment ramp to the curtain airbag. The mounting portion is configured so that installing both mounting tabs in their corresponding sleeves requires the application of external manipulating forces to the mounting portion in order to bend and/or deflect in order to overcome an interference between the mounting portion and the curtain airbag.
SELECTIVELY INFLATED CROSSBAR AIRBAG
An assembly for a vehicle includes a first seat and a second seat. The assembly includes a crossbar positioned between the first seat and the second seat. The assembly includes an airbag supported by the crossbar. The assembly includes a controller programmed to position the crossbar in a raised position in response to a detected occupant egress.
SELECTIVELY INFLATED CROSSBAR AIRBAG

The assembly includes an airbag supported by the crossbar. The assembly includes a controller programmed to position the crossbar in a raised position in response to a detected occupant egress.
AIRBAG DEVICE
An airbag device to be applied to a vehicle provided with A to C pillars, a door, and a side sill includes an airbag, a collision mode predictor, and a pressure controller. The airbag is deployed from a container to be disposed on a lower side of the side sill to a region on a vehicle-widthwise outside of a side surface of a vehicle body including the door. The airbag includes a first air chamber disposed mainly in front of the B pillar after being deployed and a second air chamber disposed mainly behind the B pillar after being deployed. The collision mode predictor predicts a collision mode of an object with the vehicle. The pressure controller increases or reduces at least either of internal pressures of the first air chamber and the second air chamber independently of the other, based on the predicted collision mode.

CURTAIN AIRBAG MODULE
A curtain airbag module that is to be attached at least to a side roof member of a vehicle body of a vehicle includes a curtain airbag, fist tabs, and a coupler. The curtain airbag includes vehicle-body fixation points arranged in a longitudinal direction of the curtain airbag in a stored state extending in the longitudinal direction. The fist tabs are to be attached to the vehicle body while being overlaid on the respective vehicle-body fixation points. The coupler couples some first tabs adjacent to each other that are a portion or all of the first tabs. The coupler is provided along an extending direction of the curtain airbag. The coupler has a shape with no portion to be present between the curtain airbag and the vehicle body in a state where the first tabs are attached to the vehicle body.

VEHICLE WITH PET PROTECTION FUNCTION
A vehicle with a pet protection function includes a pet guard body, a first air-bag device, and a controller. The pet guard body is disposed in a vehicle compartment of the vehicle on which a pet is to be loaded in such a manner that the pet guard body partitions a vehicle compartment into a front portion and a rear portion. The first air-bag device is configured to be deployed behind the pet guard body. The controller is configured to deploy the first air-bag device upon contact of the vehicle.
Airbag hanger tabs and related assembly methods
Tabs for coupling airbag cushions to hangers and/or vehicles, along with related assembly/manufacturing methods. In some embodiments, the tab may comprise a first section comprising a first plurality of openings and a slot configured to receive a portion of the hanger therethrough, the slot being positioned in between at least a first opening of the first plurality of openings and a second opening of the first plurality of openings. The tab may further comprise a second section comprising a second plurality of openings. In some embodiments the second section may comprise, at least in part, a narrower width than the first section.
INFLATABLE CURTAIN AIRBAG
An inflatable curtain device for protecting occupants in a motor vehicle includes an inflatable curtain adapted to be folded or rolled in an undeployed condition and inflated in a deployed condition, and the inflatable curtain is formed from at least a first and a second fabric layer. The inflatable curtain device further includes at least one portion of one of the first and second fabric layers having a permanent magnet region, which is magnetically attracted to at least one of a second region of the vehicle or a second region of one of the first and second fabric layers thereby provides a retention of the inflatable curtain in a folded or rolled configuration in an installation position with the vehicle and retains the inflatable curtain in the rolled or folded configuration.
