An airbag apparatus for a vehicle includes an inflator, an airbag configured to be expanded and deployed from an instrument panel when supplied with gas so as to be positioned on a front side of an occupant, and a flow guide cloth disposed inside the airbag. The flow guide cloth is configured to be expanded and deployed when the gas flows into the flow guide cloth and discharge the gas into the airbag. A rear end portion is spaced from a rear wall of the airbag. A rear outlet is disposed in the rear end portion and configured to discharge the gas into a rear end portion of the airbag. A front outlet is disposed in a front portion and configured to discharge the gas into a front portion of the airbag. An opening area of the rear outlet is larger than an opening area of the front outlet.

IGNITER HOLDING STRUCTURE
An igniter holding structure includes, an igniter provided with an ignition portion and a conductive pin, a first resin portion provided between the igniter and an attachment portion and holds the igniter such that the ignition portion and a distal end of the conductive pin are located opposite each other, and a second resin portion provided in a circumferential wall portion of the attachment portion and forming a connector insertion portion on an inner side of the circumferential wall portion, the connector insertion portion being a space into which a connector connected to the conductive pin can be inserted and the second resin portion being provided separated from the first resin portion on the inner side of the circumferential wall portion in a manner that an exposed surface, which is made of metal and exposed to the connector insertion portion, is formed in the circumferential wall portion.
IGNITER HOLDING STRUCTURE
An igniter holding structure includes, an igniter provided with an ignition portion and a conductive pin, a first resin portion provided between the igniter and an attachment portion and holds the igniter such that the ignition portion and a distal end of the conductive pin are located opposite each other, and a second resin portion provided in a circumferential wall portion of the attachment portion and forming a connector insertion portion on an inner side of the circumferential wall portion, the connector insertion portion being a space into which a connector connected to the conductive pin can be inserted and the second resin portion being provided separated from the first resin portion on the inner side of the circumferential wall portion in a manner that an exposed surface, which is made of metal and exposed to the connector insertion portion, is formed in the circumferential wall portion.
FILL TUBE ADAPTOR FOR INFLATOR
An adaptor for connecting a fill tube to an inflator includes a sleeve configured to fit over a discharge end portion of the inflator and to be connected to the inflator. The adaptor also includes an end portion comprising a nipple configured to receive and connect with the fill tube, wherein the sleeve is configured to direct inflation fluid discharged from the inflator toward the nipple, and the nipple is configured to direct the inflation fluid into the fill tube.
FILL TUBE ADAPTOR FOR INFLATOR
An adaptor for connecting a fill tube to an inflator includes a sleeve configured to fit over a discharge end portion of the inflator and to be connected to the inflator. The adaptor also includes an end portion comprising a nipple configured to receive and connect with the fill tube, wherein the sleeve is configured to direct inflation fluid discharged from the inflator toward the nipple, and the nipple is configured to direct the inflation fluid into the fill tube.

An initiator for a gas generator of a vehicle safety device includes a cup defining an interior, a primary pyrotechnic material disposed in the interior of the cup, and a secondary pyrotechnic material disposed in the interior of the cup. A separator member hermetically separates the primary pyrotechnic material from the secondary pyrotechnic material.

An assembly for a vehicle includes a seat having a seat bottom and a seatback supported by the seat bottom. The seat bottom and the seatback define an occupant seating area. The seat includes an airbag supported by an upper end of the seatback. The airbag is inflatable downwardly from the upper end of the seatback enclosing the occupant seating area between the airbag and the seatback. The seat includes a pyrotechnic device fixed to the seat below the airbag. The pyrotechnic device is connected to the airbag.
