The seat cushion airbag includes a first cushion, which is mounted on a seat cushion of a vehicle so as to be expanded at the rear portion of a passenger's thigh, and a second cushion, which extends from the first cushion in an upward direction of a bolster portion of the seat cushion so as to be expanded toward the lateral side surface of the passenger's thigh, wherein the first cushion is expanded at the rear portion of the passenger's thigh so as to prevent forward movement of the passenger's pelvis, and the second cushion is expanded toward the lateral side surface of the passenger's thigh so as to prevent outward spreading of the passenger's legs.

The front passenger seat airbag includes a main body inflation portion having a front end side attached to the storage portion when inflation is completed, and a protruding inflation portion having a portion protruding rearward from at least one end portion side in a right-left direction on a rear surface side of the main body inflation portion when inflation is completed, the protruding inflation portion protecting a head of the occupant moving obliquely forward during an oblique collision or an offset collision of a vehicle. A pinching portion is formed in a position continuous with a rear end side of the protruding inflation portion, and regulates an outer shape of the protruding inflation portion when inflation is completed, and the pinching portion is formed by joining to-be-joined portions separated from each other in a state in which a bag panel constituting the outer peripheral wall is flatly unfolded.

Covering member and airbag apparatus

A covering member is attached to a case body, on which an actuator detachably holding the other end portion of a tether having one end portion connected to an airbag is mounted, and covers the actuator. The covering member includes an opposing portion that opposes at least a part of the actuator in an attachment direction D to the case body. The covering member includes a side surface portion that is formed to extend from the opposing portion in the attachment direction D and is locked and held by being pushed into the case body in the attachment direction D.

Covering member and airbag apparatus

A covering member is attached to a case body, on which an actuator detachably holding the other end portion of a tether having one end portion connected to an airbag is mounted, and covers the actuator. A curtain airbag for a vehicle may include: a main chamber installed between a headliner and a vehicle body and provided to be downwardly unfolded to the interior of the vehicle; a diffuser being provided at an inlet portion of the main chamber connected with an inflator, formed with a first outlet and a second outlet which receive and discharge gas from the inflator; and an additional chamber connected with the second outlet of the diffuser and communicated with the second outlet to receive gas from the diffuser and inflated between the headliner and the vehicle body to separate the headliner from the vehicle body. In particular, the diffuser includes a joined portion to close partially or fully the first outlet, and the diffuser increases the gas supply to the main chamber when the joined portion is opened by an internal pressure of the diffuser.

Curtain airbag for vehicle

A curtain airbag for a vehicle may include: a main chamber installed between a headliner and a vehicle body and provided to be downwardly unfolded to the interior of the vehicle; a diffuser being provided at an inlet portion of the main chamber connected with an inflator, formed with a first outlet and a second outlet which receive and discharge gas from the inflator; and an additional chamber connected with the second outlet of the diffuser and communicated with the second outlet to receive gas from the diffuser and inflated between the headliner and the vehicle body to separate the headliner from the vehicle body. In particular, the diffuser includes a joined portion to close partially or fully the first outlet, and the diffuser increases the gas supply to the main chamber when the joined portion is opened by an internal pressure of the diffuser.
