BRAKE BOOSTER DEVICE HAVING A DEFORMABLE ACTUATOR
An exemplary brake booster device includes, among other things, a brake booster mounted on a vehicle component, and an actuator that, in response to a force applied to the actuator by a gearbox housing, pivots to move the brake booster upward. The actuator includes at least two pivot elements spaced from each other, and a displacement mounted in a jointed manner between the at least two pivot elements.
BRAKE BOOSTER DEVICE WITH ACTUATOR LEVER
An exemplary brake booster device includes a brake booster mounted on a vehicle component, and an actuator lever that, in response to a force applied to the actuator by a gearbox housing, pivots to move the brake booster upward. An exemplary method includes pivoting an actuator lever about a pivot axis under a force effect in an X direction resulting from a gearbox housing, and, during the pivoting, using the actuator lever apply a force in a Z direction to a module mounted on a bulkhead to alter a position of the module mounted on the bulkhead.
ACTUATOR FOR MOVING A BRAKE BOOSTER DURING A COLLISION
A brake booster is mounted on a forward bulkhead of a motor vehicle having two elements, a first element being securely connected to the brake booster whilst a second element is securely connected to the bulkhead. The two elements are restrained against vertical movement relative to one another by at least one connector which is deformed or fails upon a movement of the brake booster upward relative to the bulkhead. An actuator is movably mounted to the bulkhead below the brake booster and rearward of a gearbox housing such that rearward movement of the gearbox housing during a frontal collision presses against the actuator and moves the actuator upward to apply pressure to the brake booster, the pressure causing the brake booster to move upward relative to the bulkhead.
VEHICLE OPERATION PEDAL DEVICE
A brake pedal device includes a pedal bracket, an operation pedal, an intermediate lever, and a coupling link. The pedal bracket includes a first side plate member and a second side plate member secured to a dash panel and arranged at interval in a vehicle width direction, and is fastened and secured with respect to a vehicle body side bracket located on a vehicle rear side by a nut and a bolt at one location. The first side plate member and the second side plate member include a deformation allowing part and a deformation allowing part between a first support shaft located on a rearward side among the first support shaft and a second support shaft, and an attachment/securing part and an attachment/securing part.
Impact separation type pedal
The present disclosure provides a pedal 1 that includes a left bracket and right bracket that are combined such that a portion coupled to a hinge of a pedal arm and another portion fixed to a vehicle body are fitted to each other in an X-shape. A cover bracket is welded to the left and right brackets and over the X-shaped portion. A fixing pin welded to the left and right brackets and at a cross-point of the X-shape. The pedal arm is separated due to deformation in an impact direction in an oblique collision as well as a front, offset, or small overlap collision of a vehicle. Thus, the pedal makes it possible to prevent a driver from being injured by the pedal.
VEHICLE OPERATION PEDAL DEVICE
A brake pedal device 1 has: a pedal bracket 5 having a first side plate member 10 and a second side plate member 20; and an operating pedal 30 supported pivotally by a first support shaft 6 comprising a caulking pin 50. The caulking pin 50 has a large-diameter section 51 and a pair of caulked portions 52. A load receiving part 13, etc. have a predetermined load receiving part thickness T at the opening peripheral of an insertion hole 12, etc. irrespective of a side plate thickness t of the first side plate member 10 etc. The caulked portions 52 protrude axially from each of end surfaces of the large diameter section 51 by a second axial length LB larger than the load receiving part thickness T. The caulked portions 52 are compressed and deformed axially by a work load of a caulking.
Vehicle brake device
The vehicle brake device has the invalid depression region in a brake pedal operation by a driver. The vehicle brake device includes an input rod configured to move forward and rearward in conjunction with a depression operation of a brake pedal and a pedal bias unit configured to bias the input rod in a direction to which the brake pedal returns when the depression operation position of the brake pedal lies within the invalid depression region. The pedal bias unit includes an elastic body including one end portion attached to the input rod and the other end portion attached to the vehicle body side member to provide a spring force to the input rod in the direction to which the brake pedal returns.
Brake pedal apparatus for a vehicle
A brake pedal apparatus for a vehicle has a pedal member manufactured by bending one steel plate. A pedal arm is forcibly rotated forwards by the pedal member being deformed in the event of crash or rear-end collision.
Vehicle pedal device
The vehicle pedal device includes a pedal bracket fixed to a dash panel, a pedal, a lever bracket fixed to the dash panel, fixing means fixing the pedal bracket and the lever bracket with a predetermined holding force for fixed state, a rotating lever, a reinforcement for instrument panel, a lever rotator which is fixed to the reinforcement for instrument panel, and bracket deforming means fixed to the reinforcement for instrument panel. The bracket deforming means contacts with the pedal bracket to deform the pedal bracket downward when the pedal bracket moves rearward together with the dash panel. The rotating lever comprises a press portion which can press the fixing means or the pedal bracket downward with a force exceeding the holding force for fixed state when the rotating lever is rotated by the lever rotator.
Deformation suppressing structure of vehicle
A deformation suppressing structure of a vehicle includes a dash panel separating a driving unit space for installing a weight component and a vehicle interior space for a passenger to ride, a brake component disposed inside the driving unit space and between the weight component and the dash panel to control a hydraulic pressure of a brake system, and a protecting member fixed to the dash panel and accommodating the brake component. The protecting member includes a guide surface configured such that a contact point at which the guide surface contacts the weight component changes during a backward movement of the weight component at the time of a collision of the vehicle, and a contacting portion arranged to contact the dash panel at a location above a fixing point at which the protecting member and the dash panel are fixed to each other and above the contact point.
