HYDRAULIC DEVICE
A hydraulic device is basically provided with a cylinder housing and a reservoir. The cylinder housing includes a cylinder bore. The reservoir is configured to be in fluid communication with the cylinder bore. The reservoir includes a reservoir tank and a lid slidably attached to the reservoir tank.
PISTON ASSEMBLY FOR HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
A piston assembly is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The piston assembly includes a main body and a primary seal. The main body is configured to be movable from a rest position to an actuated position along an actuation direction in a cylinder bore. The primary seal includes a primary seal body arranged on the main body. The primary seal body is made of a resin material. The main body includes a first part and a second part. The first part is at least partly arranged upstream of the primary seal with respect to the actuation direction. The second part is coupled to the first part to be at least partly arranged downstream of the primary seal with respect to the actuation direction. The at least one of the first part and the second part includes a support portion supporting the primary seal.
LEVER-OPERATED IMPROVED ACTUATION DEVICE FOR BRAKE OR CLUTCH, IN PARTICULAR FOR MOTORCYCLES, AND METHOD OF DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY OF A LEVER-OPERATED ACTUATION DEVICE
A lever-operated actuation device for a brake or clutch may have a pump body housing a hydraulic pump provided with a float and a hub rotatably associated with the pump body around a lever pin defining a rotation axis, the hub being associated with a tip operatively connected to the float for its actuation. The pump body may have a pair of fixing ears provided with fixing holes for the lever pin, the lever pin rotatably supporting an associable lever assembly. The lever assembly may have a manual actuation lever and a lever guide suitable to actuate the tip via the hub. The actuation device may have a retention device that keep the hub joined to the pump body, following the removal of the lever pin and the lever assembly for its disassembly/replacement.
VEHICLE OPERATING DEVICE
A vehicle operating device including an operating member operable by a driver and configured to: issue, to a drive system, a command to apply a drive force in a forward direction when a first-direction operation of the operating member from its neutral position in a first direction is performed in a state in which the vehicle is at a stop or running forward; issue, to the drive system, a command to apply a drive force in a backward direction when a second-direction operation of the operating member from the neutral position in a second direction different from the first direction is performed in a state in which the vehicle is at a stop or running backward; and issue, to a brake system, a command to apply a braking force as an opposite-direction-operation-dependent braking force when the second-direction operation is performed in a state in which the vehicle is running forward.
Brake assembly for height-adjustable patient transport apparatus
A patient transport apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis. The apparatus includes a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and includes a slack portion. The apparatus includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.
SNOW VEHICLE
A snow vehicle having a combined brake and clutch handle is herein disclosed. Further, the snow vehicle can include a controller for managing operation of the snow vehicle, including shifting and engine management regiments, which can be selected by the operator depending upon operator preferences. Additionally, the snow vehicle can include an engine cooling heat exchanger for cooling liquid which is circulated through the engine.
PASSENGER SIDE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR BRAKE CONTROLLER
A passenger side driving instructor brake controller can include a telescoping shaft including a first end and a second end, and a brake lever connector disposed at the first end of a telescoping shaft and adapted to be secured to a brake lever of a motor vehicle disposed within a driver-side front floorboard area of the motor vehicle. A tubular main body bent near its mid-section, the tubular main body configured to adjustably accept the second end of the telescoping shaft therein and secure the telescoping shaft with locking hardware at a fixed position within the tubular main body to enable the main body to traverse over a main console of the motor vehicle where the tubular main body is bent at its mid-section and also to extend into a passenger compartment area of the motor vehicle wherein the tubular main body can terminate at a handle area.
Brake system
A brake system for a vehicle such as a bicycle is disclosed. The brake system may comprise an improved master cylinder assembly configured (e.g. manufactured/produced, assembled, etc.) so that a setting and/or adjustment of the brake stroke and/or lever action/actuation can be provided by any one independent mechanism (e.g. without any other adjustment mechanism) or by a combination of adjustment mechanisms (e.g. in a combination with one or more adjustment mechanism); operation of a mechanism for setting and/or adjusting the brake stroke may comprise a feature configured to engage a pushrod (e.g. by direct action on the pushrod or a feature of the pushrod or by indirect action through a link, adjuster, etc. configured to engage the pushrod). The master cylinder assembly may be configured to be set and/or adjusted/tuned within the indicated range to provide an intended performance and/or “feel” for the operator at the brake lever.
