Method for Operating a Brake System of a Motor Vehicle, and Control Device and Brake System
A method for operating a brake system of a motor vehicle includes actuating a first actuating device of the brake system, exerting an electromechanical braking force to decelerate the motor vehicle in an event of a fault in the hydraulic braking device and when the first actuating device is actuated, and generating the electromechanical braking force after a start of the actuation of the first actuating device for a minimum generation period and/or generating the electromechanical braking force after an end of the actuation of the first actuating device for an additional continued generation period. The brake system includes a hydraulic braking device, an electromechanical braking device, and a first actuating device, in particular a brake pedal.
LOCOMOTIVE PARKING BRAKE
A railway vehicle parking brake that can provide the appropriate tension to the braking system using a motor, a brake chain drum interconnected to the motor to take up or release a brake chain, a load arm deflects in response to tension in the brake chain, and a switch that is closed by the load arm when it deflects. A movable sheave interconnects the brake chain and the load arm and is positioned between the brake chain drum and a fixed sheave over which the brake chain is looped. A control method considers the position of the first switch to determine whether to the motor off when applying the brakes and the amount of current being drawn by the motor to determine whether to the motor off because of a system failure.
Electronic parking brake device and method for operating an electronic parking brake device
The present invention relates to an electronic parking brake device for a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle. As a function of at least one operating state of a towing vehicle parking brake supply line and/or a trailer parking brake supply line, a towing vehicle parking brake control valve is activatable by a control unit in such a way that a towing vehicle parking brake supply line can be deaerated or aerated by the towing vehicle parking brake control valve. By manually actuating a trailer parking brake control element, a trailer parking brake control valve is activatable by the control unit in such a way that a trailer parking brake supply line can be deaerated or aerated by the trailer parking brake control valve. The present invention also relates to a method for operating the above electronic parking brake device for a vehicle.
Electric brake device
An electric brake device includes: an electric brake being configured such that a shaft is moved forward by diving of an electric motor, and the forward movement of the shaft brings the electric brake into an acting state in which brake friction members are pushed against a brake rotary body so as to suppress rotation of a wheel; and a motor controller being configured to control the electric motor, wherein through a rotation speed control on the electric motor, after the shaft reaches a set position before the electric brake comes into the acting state, the motor controller controls a forward speed of the shaft to be smaller than that before the shaft reaches the set position.
ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE DEVICE
An electric parking brake device configured to enable switching of a control mode between: a switch operation mode to lock and release electric parking brakes by operation of an electric parking brake switch; and a shift link operation mode to lock and release the electric parking brakes in conjunction with shift operation of a shift lever. The electric parking brake device has a mode selection controller to select the shift link operation mode as the control mode if the switch breakdown determiner determines that the electric parking brake switch is broken down and the brake operation determiner determines that the electric parking brakes are in the locked state.
Vehicular control device and method of controlling vehicular control device
The present invention relates to a vehicular control device including a plurality of ECUs connected to each other through an in-vehicle network. The vehicular control device includes a first control device that controls an electrical component and a second control device connected to the first control device through an in-vehicle network. In a case where an operation switch of the electrical component in the first control device is fixed in an on-state and an ignition key is off, data transmission from the first control device to the second control device is stopped, or the first control device is set to a reception-only mode, and thus the second control device is prevented from operating due to a wake-up function.
Method and device for operating a parking brake
A method for operating a parking brake which has an actuator with an actuating element and an electric motor, the electric motor is operatively connected to the actuating element in order to displace the latter, the electric motor is actuated in order to displace the actuating element by a predefined movement travel, and an actual movement travel of the actuating element is monitored in order to actuate the electric motor. The method includes determining the actual movement travel of the actuating element in a manner which is dependent on a motor current and/or a motor voltage of the electric motor.
Overload protection for a parking lock
A parking lock of a vehicle is normally controlled by a first control unit. In the presence of a predefined condition, control of the parking lock is assumed by a second control unit of the vehicle and the first control unit is disabled, at least in part, when the predefined condition is present.
Electronic parking brake system and method of controlling the same
Provided is an electronic parking brake system including: an electronic parking brake configured to provide a clamping force required for parking a vehicle by a motor; and a controller electrically connected to the motor, wherein the controller is configured to, in response to the electronic parking brake being in a parking release state or in a parking stop state and a transmission position being in a P-stage, identify whether a rollback occurs in the vehicle, and upon determining that a rollback has occurred in the vehicle, operate the electronic parking brake to park the vehicle.
