Pressure medium unit, in particular for setting and/or regulating a brake pressure in a vehicle brake system having electronic slip regulation, and cap-shaped filter element

A pressure medium unit, in particular for setting and/or regulating a brake pressure in a vehicle brake system having electronic slip regulation, and to a cap-shaped filter element. Pressure medium units are equipped with a housing block having a duct formed therein that conducts pressure medium, a control element that controls a cross-section of the duct, and a filter element assigned to the control element and fixed in the interior of the duct. According to the present system, the filter element is formed in the shape of a cap, and has on its outer circumference a radially protruding fixing segment having an elastically deformable cross-section. A fixing segment realized in this manner compensates differences in expansion between the components caused by changes in temperature, prevents play at the filter element, and provides a particularly good filter effect.

A hydraulic assembly for modulating a brake pressure of a wheel brake of a motor vehicle brake system with electronic slip control includes a housing block through which a brake fluid is configured to flow and which is equipped with an electronically controllable member for setting the brake pressure. The hydraulic assembly also includes at least one particle-filtering device that is fitted with the housing block and forms a magnetic field. Using the particle-filtering device, particles of ferromagnetic material are configured to be filtered out of the brake fluid without reducing a cross-section of a fluid-conducting channel and thereby choking the throughflow of the housing block or hindering the fluid throughflow.

VALVE UNIT FOR AN ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM

A valve unit for an anti-lock braking system has a valve body, a piston, and an elastic element acting on the piston. The valve body has an outlet port, an inlet port, a primary chamber communicating with the outlet port, an expansion chamber with an outflow passage establishing fluid communication between the primary chamber and the expansion chamber, and a bypass passage between the inlet port and the outlet port. The piston is movable in the primary chamber and has a longitudinal through cavity, a first transversal surface facing the outlet port, and a second transversal surface facing away from the outlet port. The first transversal surface has an area smaller than the area of the second transversal surface. The elastic element exerts an elastic force to move the piston away from the outlet port. The valve unit is activatable by pressure of a brake fluid in the primary chamber.

Hydraulic unit and control units for hydraulic brake systems

In a hydraulic unit, which is for a hydraulic brake system, that has a hydraulic block and at least one valve device, the valve device includes a hydraulic cartridge with a valve seat and with a movable closing body for blocking and opening the valve seat, and a magnet assembly with a magnet coil for generating a magnetic force for moving the closing body. Solenoid valve with an integrated check valve functionality for an air braking system of a heavy vehicle

A solenoid valve comprises first, second, and third ports. The solenoid valve further comprises an armature movable between a first position in which fluid flow from the second port to the third port is blocked and fluid flow from the first port to the third port is unblocked and a second position in which fluid flow from the second port to the third port is unblocked and fluid flow from the first port to the third port is blocked. The fluid flow in the second position is blocked until fluid pressure at the first port exceeds fluid pressure at the third port by a predetermined amount to thereby provide check valve functionality. The check valve functionality is integral to the armature. The solenoid valve also comprises an energizeable solenoid that, when energized, moves the armature from the first position to the second position.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKE DEVICE

The disclosure provides an anti-lock brake device including an oil pressure tank, a first piston and a second piston. The oil pressure tank has an internal space, an oil inlet and an oil outlet that are connected to one another. The first piston is slidably located in the internal space, and has a first oil channel penetrating a contact portion of the first piston and connected to the oil inlet. The second piston is slidably located in the internal space and includes a push portion, and an outer diameter of the push portion is smaller than that of the contact portion. When the second piston is in a closed position, a chamber having a first unoccupied volume is formed in the internal space. When the second piston is moved from the closed position to a depressurized position, the first volume of the chamber is increased to a second volume.
