A piston pump, in particular as a pressure generator in an electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system, includes a pump cylinder, a drivable piston, a pump working chamber, a valve space, and a valve. The drivable piston is slidably accommodated in the pump cylinder. The pump working chamber is bounded by the piston and the pump cylinder. The valve controls a supply of pressure medium to the pump working chamber. The valve has a conical valve seat and a closing element having a domed shell section that interacts with the valve seat. The valve seat surrounds the valve space, into which the closing element plunges, at least up to an imaginary center point of the domed shell section, when the valve seat is closed or open.
ACTUATING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE BRAKE AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE ACTUATING SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to an actuating system for a vehicle brake, with an actuating arrangement, in particular a brake pedal, at least one (first) piston-cylinder unit, which is connected via a hydraulic line to the vehicle brake (braking circuit) in order to supply the braking circuit with pressure medium and apply pressure to the vehicle brake, and with a drive for the piston-cylinder unit. Pressure medium can be fed to the braking circuit in controlled manner in both piston movement directions, in particular the advance stroke and the return stroke, by means of at least one, in particular stepped, piston of the piston-cylinder unit.

The plug member includes: a recessed portion formed on a circumferential wall of a discharge chamber opposing an outer periphery of the discharge valve in a radial direction; and a discharge passage disposed at a position different from the recessed portion, formed on the circumferential wall of the discharge chamber opposing the outer periphery of the discharge valve in the radial direction, and connecting the discharge chamber and the outside with each other.

A vehicle brake system includes a first main cylinder with a first main cylinder connection and a first actuating device with a first actuating connection. The first main cylinder connection is in flow-connection to the first actuating connection, and the first actuating device is operable with the first main cylinder. A first brake circuit is provided between a pump and a first wheel cylinder, where the pump in the first brake circuit is operable to generate pressure and move a fluid within the first brake circuit. A first valve device is provided in the first brake circuit where the first valve device is movable between a first configuration in which a flow connection is produced between the pump and the first wheel cylinder, and a second configuration in which a flow connection between the pump and the first wheel cylinder is prevented.

[Problem] A brake hydraulic pressure controller capable of being formed with a relatively large damper chamber while suppressing enlargement of a housing is provided.
[Means for Resolution] The brake hydraulic pressure controller includes: a motor having a motor shaft; a skew plate fixed to a tip of the motor shaft and arranged to be inclined with respect to an axial direction of the motor shaft; and a pump element driven by rotation of the motor shaft and the skew plate. The pump element has: a piston that reciprocates in parallel with the axial direction of the motor shaft in conjunction with the rotation of the skew plate; an accommodation chamber that accommodates a part of the piston and to which a brake fluid is introduced; a release valve that releases the brake fluid from the accommodation chamber; and a pressure damper chamber that is provided in a reciprocal direction of the piston and into which the brake fluid released from the release valve flows.
