HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT WITH PISTON PUMP
An electro-hydraulic control unit for a vehicle brake system includes a hydraulic control unit including an HCU block defining a motor bore containing an electric motor and an eccentric chamber containing a rotating eccentric driven by the electric motor. The HCU block also defines a pump bore containing a piston pump including a piston rod having a generally cylindrical shape with a smooth exterior surface extending substantially its entire length. An end cap is press fit around an end of the piston rod and includes a flange portion extending annularly outwardly for engaging a return spring. A piston guide includes a tubular portion guiding the piston rod and a shoulder for engaging the return spring. A throat of the piston guide holds a gland seal surrounding the piston rod. An outlet valve housing includes a tubular protrusion extending into the throat of the piston guide to hold the gland seal.
Hydraulic Unit and Control Units for Hydraulic Brake Systems
In a hydraulic unit, which is for a hydraulic brake system, that has a hydraulic block and at least one valve device, the valve device includes a hydraulic cartridge with a valve seat and with a movable closing body for blocking and opening the valve seat, and a magnet assembly with a magnet coil for generating a magnetic force for moving the closing body. The magnet assembly is integrated into the hydraulic block, and the valve device has a permanent magnet in order to assist the movement of the closing body by means of magnetic force.
Hydraulic Block for a Hydraulic Assembly of a Slip Control System of a Hydraulic Vehicle Brake System
A hydraulic block of a slip control system of a hydraulic vehicle brake system includes receptacles for the hydraulic accumulator and receptacles for outlet valves arranged on opposite sides of each other in the hydraulic block. The sides of the hydraulic block, which comprise the receptacles for the outlet valves and the hydraulic accumulators, are connected to one another by bores perpendicular thereto.
Hydraulic unit of a vehicle brake system having an eccentric chamber
A hydraulic unit of a vehicle brake system includes at least one pump element that is driven via an eccentric, which is enclosed by an eccentric chamber. The hydraulic unit also includes a vacuum pump that is configured to maintain a vacuum in the eccentric chamber while the hydraulic unit is in operation.
VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM
A vehicle braking system includes a master cylinder, and a wheel cylinder. A primary braking unit includes a first pressure generating unit distinct from the master cylinder and is operable to actuate a braking action at the wheel cylinder in a primary mode of operation. The primary braking unit further includes an outlet port connecting the primary braking unit to the wheel cylinder. A secondary braking unit includes a second pressure generating unit distinct from the master cylinder and operable to actuate a braking action at the wheel cylinder in a secondary mode of operation. The secondary braking unit an inlet port connected to the outlet port of the primary braking unit. The primary braking unit includes one or more ABS valves operable to control traction control and anti-lock braking in the primary mode of operation and located between the first pressure generating unit and the outlet port of the primary braking unit. The secondary braking unit is located between the one or more ABS valves and the wheel cylinder.
Discharge valve comprising a receiving element
A discharge valve for a hydraulic pump of a hydraulic unit defines a valve port, and includes a valve body and a receiving element. The valve body is configured to seal off the valve port. The receiving element adjoins the valve port, and defines a cavity configured to receive the valve body. The cavity has a longitudinal axis and an inner wall with a radially outwardly oriented pocket configured to receive the valve body.
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE CONTROL UNIT FOR VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM
A hydraulic pressure control unit capable of reducing pulsation generated during driving of pumps and capable of suppressing enlargement of the hydraulic pressure control unit is provided.
The hydraulic pressure control unit (50) includes the plural pumps (60) used to increase a hydraulic pressure of brake fluid in each hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic pressure control unit (50) also includes a discharge channel (140) provided on discharge sides of the plural pumps (60). The discharge channel (140) includes: a merging channel (141) having a downstream end; and plural distributary channels (142) respectively communicating with the discharge sides of the pumps (60). When, of connected portions between the merging channel (141) and the distributary channels (142), the connected portion on a lowermost stream side is defined as a lowermost-stream side connected portion (143), the hydraulic pressure control unit (50) is provided with a damper unit (80) in a region on a downstream side in the merging channel (141) with the lowermost-stream side connected portion (143) being a reference, the damper unit (80) dampening the pulsation of the brake fluid discharged from each of the pumps (60).
Hydraulic Block for a Hydraulic Assembly of a Brake Pressure Control System of a Hydraulic Vehicle Brake System
A hydraulic block for a hydraulic assembly of a slip control system of a hydraulic vehicle brake system includes a metal-plastic composite part with a metal part and a further part. The metal part includes sleeve-like brake line ports, sleeve-like valve receptacles, sleeve-like pump receptacles, and pipes as connecting lines. The further part is a plastic part that is injection-molded around the metal part to form the hydraulic block in a cuboid shape.
