SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COATING CONFECTIONERY PRODUCT
A method of coating a confectionery core is provided includes applying a first coating material to the confectionery core. The first coating material being in liquid form. The method also includes tackifying said first coating material on the confectionery core for a selected period of time to achieve a specific level of tackiness for said first coating material. The method further includes applying a second coating material to said first coating material on the confectionery core. The second coating material including a natural plant based particulate.
System for processing foodstuff
A system for processing foodstuff includes a drum and a conveyor for conveying foodstuff to the drum; the drum having a peripheral wall and at least one opening into which, in use, foodstuff enters the drum; the drum having a proximal extremity and a distal extremity; the drum being rotatable about at least one axis of rotation; whereby foodstuff may be tumbled for flavouring and/or seasoning the foodstuff; and the drum being removable; wherein the peripheral wall includes titanium or a titanium alloy.
Module for a coating apparatus for granular bodies
A coating apparatus having a rotatable drum with at least one moveable separating element arranged on an end side, and granular bodies can be transferred into the drum and/or out of the drum by a movement that leads to release. A separating element can be moved from a closed position into an open position by rotation about an axis of rotation. In the closed position, a subregion lies with its underside against an inner wall of the drum or has a small gap there. In the open position, the subregion on the underside is spaced apart from the inner wall of the drum and there is an opening there through which granular bodies can pass. On the end sides of the drum there are stop elements with which a drum of at least one further module is connectable in order to form a coating apparatus and/or a closure element.
BOTTOM PART CONFIGURED FOR A DEVICE FOR COATING OR MIXING GRANULAR PRODUCTS, MORE IN PARTICULAR PEANUTS, WITH A SUBSTANCE
The present invention relates to a device for coating and mixing granular products, in particular food products, more in particular peanuts, the device comprising a compartment defined by a rotary bottom part and a stationary circumferential side wall, the device further comprising: a product supply for supplying the products into the compartment, a substance supply for supplying a substance into the compartment, a drive for rotating the rotary bottom part about its substantially vertical axis, wherein the rotary bottom part and the stationary circumferential side wall comprise non-stick parts which define a substantial part of an inner surface of the compartment and which are manufactured from a non-stick material, wherein said non-stick parts are mechanically connected to the device via detachable connectors, allowing fast replacement of worn-out non-stick parts by new, same non-stick parts.
CONTROL METHOD OF COATING DEVICE
Provided is a control method of a coating device that can perform coating of coating targets well. The control method of a coating device includes a coating tank (25) which includes a drum (28A) having a cylindrical shape and rotatable, and a disk (38A) having a dish shape and disposed to close a lower end of the drum (28A) and rotatable coaxially with the drum (28A). The method executes a first rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in a standing posture in which a rotation axis of the coating tank (25) is directed in a vertical direction, rotating the drum (28A) in one direction, and rotating the disk (38A) in the other direction, and a second rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in an inclined posture in which the rotation axis is inclined with respect to the vertical direction and rotating the drum (28A) and the disk (38A) in the one direction.
COATING APPARATUS AND COATING METHOD FOR GRANULAR BODIES
In the coating apparatus for granular bodies is disposed a rotatable hollow cylindrical drum in which there is an introduction apparatus for granular bodies and at least one movable separating element therein, with which a cycle zone can be partly separated from a downstream cycle zone and a movement of the at least one separating element that leads to release is achievable. An interior of the drum is divided into at least one cycle zone and a further cycle zone. A spray apparatus is disposed in one cycle zone, and an outlet in a cycle zone arranged downstream. A separating element is movable from a closed position into an open position. A separating element has a clear space above the closed subregion and an opening between one cycle zone and a cycle zone arranged thereafter, through which granular bodies can pass.
Method and device for coating or mixing granular products, more in particular peanuts, with a substance
METHOD FOR THE TREATMENT OF CORN KERNELS INTENDED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POPCORN USING MICROWAVE APPLIANCES, AND RESULTING PRODUCT
In the method of the main patent, corn kernels coated with sunflower lecithin and additives are obtained. According to the improvements, the additives and sunflower lecithin can be added in liquid state, solid state or both, and can be mixed and subsequently filtered before reaching a final mixer (2) to which are added not only the additives and sunflower lecithin, in any state, but also the corn kernels (1), in order to coat the corn kernels inside the mixer. The improvements also provide for the substitution of sunflower lecithin by other compounds with which similar results can be obtained, such as fructose syrup, liquid glucose, corn syrup, molasses, inverted sugar syrup or cornstarch, the kernels obtained being able to be coated with more than one coating of a different nature.
