Apparatus, system, and method for use in brake caliper inspection
A brake caliper inspection apparatus that includes a housing including an interior and a plurality of ports that provide access to the interior. The apparatus also includes a plurality of components each coupled to a port of the plurality of ports. The plurality of components includes a sensor configured to monitor a gauge pressure within said interior, a nozzle configured to channel fluid therethrough, and a viewing dome configured to provide a visual indication of an air-to-fluid ratio within said interior.
Fluid delivery system
A system for delivering fluid in a machine is provided. The system includes a pump, a first valve disposed downstream of the pump, a check valve disposed downstream of the first valve, at least one accumulator disposed downstream of the check valve, and an auxiliary system disposed upstream of the check valve. The system further includes a control unit configured to receive a signal indicative of a fluid demand from the auxiliary system. The control unit is also configured to selectively control the first valve in a first position to limit flow of the fluid from the pump to the auxiliary system, and in a second position to allow flow of the fluid from the pump to the auxiliary system based, at least in part, on the received signal. The check valve limits flow of a fluid from the at least one accumulator to the auxiliary system.
Hydraulic operating device for a cycle or for a motorcycle comprising a float valve
A hydraulic operating device for a fluid of a cycle or of a motorcycle hydraulic system including a body, a first chamber carved in the body adapted to house an actuating piston, a second tank-chamber carved in the body and in fluid communication with said first chamber, a floating plug, a sphere, an elastic element, a rear sealing element and a rear plug.
Opposed high pressure hydraulic system
Braking systems and methods having above atmospheric pressure applied to the working hydraulic fluid of the braking system. In certain preferred arrangements, the braking system includes at least one source of pressure, which pressurizes a fluid. The pressurized fluid acts on respective pressure surfaces of the master plunger(s) and the slave piston(s) that are opposite the active or working surfaces of the master plunger(s) and the slave piston(s).
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COLLECTING AND SUPPLYING BRAKE FLUID
This device for collecting and supplying brake fluid has a gas-liquid separation tank divided into a lower chamber and an upper chamber with a partition wall interposed therebetween. Connected to the gas-liquid separation tank are: a collection line for collecting brake fluid from the brake system of a vehicle in the gas-liquid separation tank; a circulation line for extraction of brake fluid from the lower chamber and the return thereof to the lower chamber; and a replenishment line for replenishing the gas-liquid separation tank with fresh brake fluid. Air intake for the brake system is performed via a main intake line, and air intake for the gas-liquid separation tank is performed via an auxiliary intake line. Both the main intake line and auxiliary intake line are connected to an auxiliary tank.
HYDRAULIC UNIT FOR BRAKE SYSTEM
Provided is a hydraulic unit of a brake system including a housing; an oil supply part configured to supply oil to the housing; an oil discharge part configured to discharge the oil, supplied to the housing through the oil supply part, to the outside of the housing; and a piston movably mounted on the housing, and configured to open and close the oil supply part and the oil discharge part.
Hydraulic system bleed device and system thereof
A hydraulic system bleed system for a vehicle, including a hydraulic system bleed device, including a pneumatic air cylinder containing air in an interior portion thereof, a ram rod disposed at least partially within the pneumatic air cylinder, such that the pneumatic air cylinder and the ram rod are disposed between a steering wheel and a brake pedal of the vehicle, and a recoil spring disposed within the interior portion of the pneumatic air cylinder to provide a springing reciprocating movement for the ram rod, and a mobile device to provide a signal to the hydraulic system bleed device to initiate the reciprocating movement such that the brake pedal is depressed.
Cooling device for forklift brake system
The present invention is related to a cooling device for a forklift brake system, which is capable of maintaining a predetermined level of heat-radiation performance by reducing heat when heat is generated in a service brake that is provided at a forklift driving shaft. A cooling device for a forklift brake system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention allows cooling oil to bypass a cooler when a pressure of the cooling oil is abnormally increased or there is a concern that a pressure of the cooling oil is increased, thereby preventing the cooler from being damaged.
METHOD FOR CHECKING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF A BRAKING SYSTEM, AND BRAKING SYSTEM
A method for checking functionality of a motor vehicle braking system. The braking system has a main module, including: hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes, pairs being assigned to respective brake circuits; at least one electrically actuatable wheel valve per wheel brake sets wheel-specific brake pressures; a pressure provision device actively builds up pressure in the wheel brakes; a pressure-medium reservoir at atmospheric pressure, and an auxiliary module, which has for each of two wheel brakes: a pressure sensor for measuring pressure in a wheel brake line; an open when deenergized isolating valve in the wheel brake line; a pump. At least one variable is measured to assess functionality of the braking system. Using least one acceptance criterion, and checked whether the variable satisfies the acceptance criterion. Determining at least one variable representing the viscosity of the brake fluid, and the at least one acceptance criterion depends on a variable representing viscosity.
FILLING LEVEL SENSING DEVICE
A filling level sensing device for a liquid reservoir, in particular for a compensation tank of a vehicle brake system, includes at least one float, at least one sensor element connected to the at least one float, and at least two sensors for detecting the position of the at least one sensor element. The float may be designed to come into contact with the liquid in the liquid reservoir. At least one of the two sensors may sense a change in the filling level of the liquid reservoir depending on the position of the at least one sensor element relative to the at least two sensors.
