Cruise control system and method for vehicle
A cruise control system capable of: determining, by a controller, whether the vehicle is in a cruise mode-on state; determining, by the controller, an operation mode of the vehicle selected by a driver; and when it is determined that the vehicle is in the cruise mode-on state, performing, by the controller, cruise control of the vehicle for the operation mode selected by the driver, and a method therefor. Herein, the operation mode includes an eco mode which performs driving control prioritizing fuel consumption reduction.
Method and device for determining a range of a vehicle
A method for determining a range of a vehicle, the vehicle having an electric motor to supply driving power and/or to recuperate braking energy, and a weight of the vehicle is determined on the basis of an acceleration and/or recuperation behavior as a function of a torque and/or a rotational speed of the electric motor, the range of the vehicle being determined on the basis of the ascertained vehicle weight.
Method for operating a recuperation brake of a motor vehicle and recuperation brake
A method for operating a recuperation brake of a motor vehicle is disclosed. First, a future operating intensity of the recuperation brake is estimated for a section of route to be travelled on by the motor vehicle based on an input which characterizes the driving style of the section of route to be travelled on. In addition, a maximum slip-free vehicle braking power for the section of route is estimated as a function of the input. In addition, the braking power of the recuperation brake is set to a setpoint braking power which is not greater than the maximum vehicle braking power for the section of route, and finally the recuperation brake is activated on the section of route to be travelled on with the setpoint braking power. In addition, a recuperation brake for carrying out the method is described.
Control apparatus for vehicle and control method for vehicle
An electronic control unit is configured to: i) calculate a restriction target value of input electric current to a battery depending on detection value of a current sensor, in a charge control of charging the battery such that charging electric power to the battery is below a permissible value, ii) calculate voltage value of the battery when the battery is charged based on the restriction target value, in a case where the detection value exceeds the restriction target value, iii) calculate a basic permissible value of the charging electric power to the battery, from the restriction target value and the voltage value, and iv) set a regeneration restriction rate to a higher value, as a difference value between the restriction target value and the detection value increases, or as at least one of vehicle speed and the charging electric power when the detection value exceeds the restriction target value increases.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A vehicle control system is provided to maintain an SOC level of the battery during autonomous operation of the vehicle. The control system is applied to a vehicle that can be operated autonomously by controlling an engine, a motor, a steering system, a brake system etc. autonomously by a controller, and the vehicle is allowed to coast by manipulating a clutch. During autonomous operation of the vehicle, a first coasting mode in which the engine is stopped and the clutch is disengaged is selected if the SOC level is higher than a threshold level, and a second coasting mode in which the engine is activated and the clutch is disengaged is selected if the SOC level is lower than the threshold level.
REGENERATION CONTROL APPARATUS
A regeneration control apparatus which controls a regenerative braking force of an electric motor for driving an electric motor vehicle includes: a regeneration operation unit operated by a driver to select magnitude of the regenerative braking force stepwise from selection stages; a default operation unit operated by the driver to change the magnitude of the regenerative braking force to one of the selection stages which has been set as a default stage; a detection unit detecting an operation state on the regeneration operation unit during a learning period; and a default stage changing unit, when one of the selection stages whose selection frequency is highest during the learning period is different from one of the selection stages which has been currently set as the default stage, changing the default stage to another selection stage.
TRAVEL DRIVING APPARATUS OF VEHICLE
In a hybrid vehicle including a front motor for driving front wheels, and a step-up converter for stepping up voltage from a battery to supply power to the front motor, in which power regenerated by rotational force of the front wheel during vehicle deceleration is stepped down by a step-up converter and can be supplied to a battery, the hybrid vehicle includes a hybrid control unit which computes maximum input power of the step-up converter and regenerated power of the front motor during vehicle deceleration, and sets a difference obtained by subtracting regenerated power of the front motor from the maximum input power of the step-up converter to the maximum generated power of the generator.
TRAVEL DRIVING APPARATUS OF VEHICLE
In a hybrid vehicle including: a step-up converter for stepping-up the voltage from a battery and supplying power to the front motor for driving front wheels; as well as a paddle switch for setting regenerative braking torque stepwisely, and a hybrid control unit for calculating a regenerative braking force based on a selection stage set by the paddle switch, the hybrid control unit decreases the regenerative braking force to be less than the regenerative braking force while the maximum input/output power of the step-up converter is not limited, when a selection stage in which regenerative braking force is more than that in a D range is selected while the maximum input/output power of the step-up converter is limited.
METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING A BRAKING TORQUE, REQUESTED BY A DRIVER, OVER THE AXLES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for distributing a braking torque requested by a driver over the axles of a motor vehicle. The wheels of the first axle are associated with a first friction brake device and a first electrical machine having a first efficiency and the wheels of the second axle are associated with a second friction brake device and a second electrical machine having a second efficiency, in which, according to the method, the allocation of the requested braking torque over the first and/or second axle and the determination of the components of the recuperation torques to be provided by the first and/or second electrical machine of the requested braking torque is carried out taking into consideration the current driving stability of the motor vehicle.
