ARTICULATED RAIL COUPLER
An articulated rail coupler comprises a base member, a female connecting member, a male connecting member, a bearing race, a first bearing seated within the bearing race and defining a vertical axis of rotation, and a second or a coupler bearing configured and sized to be received within a truck bogie bearing bowl. The male connecting member is allowed to rotate relative to the female connecting member about the vertical axis of rotation in a range of about ninety degrees, when the male connecting member and the female connecting member are coupled therebetween by the first bearing.
LOADING SYSTEM AND TRANSPORTING WHEELED VEHICLES ON RAILWAY NETWORK
A system (100) for loading and transporting on railway network wheeled vehicles comprising one articulated vehicle (50) equipped with a drive (51) and semitrailer (52), the system (100) comprising: a computerized system configured to be placed in a station of the railway network; at least one elevator wagon (101) interfaced with the railway station computerized system; at least one carrier wagon (102); and a carriageable road infrastructure (103). The elevator wagon (101) comprises: a platform (101a); a linear structure (101d) to which the platform (101a) is inferiorly coupled; lifting structures (101e); an electronic control system (123); and auxiliary systems. The carrier wagon (102) comprises a linear structure equipped with two wheel systems (102aa) between which a load platform (102a) is comprised; load sensors; systems to assist in loading and unloading maneuvers and handling of the articulated vehicle (50) or of the single drive (51).
SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR CABLES AND TUBINGS
The invention relates to a railway wagon comprising a load carrier (7) and front and rear bogies (8), each of the bogies being provided with railway track wheels and being electrically, hydraulically and/or pneumatically connected to the load carrier by means of one or more electric cables, hydraulic and/or pneumatic tubings (5). The load carrier is releasably connected to the respective bogies, and in a released state laterally displaceable in relation to the respective bogies by means of a displacement device. The load carrier has a front and a rear end and is at each end provided with a support device and a ramp (13), wherein the support device is adapted to support the load carrier on the ground in a position where it is displaced in relation to the bogie, whereas the ramp is along an inner edge pivotally connected to the end of the load carrier. The ramp is provided with a suspension device on the underside of the ramp including a guide arrangement (1) extending transverse in relation to a longitudinal axis of the load carrier, along which guide arrangement a slider (2) is displaceably movable, wherein the slider is provided with a holder (3) for holding of the one or more cables and/or tubings while allowing transverse movement of the cables and/or tubings together with the slider and holder along the guide arrangement.
Method for Loading/Unloading a Road Semi-Trailer for a Pocket Wagon and a Pocket Wagon Suitable for This Method
A method includes grasping, with a handling machine, the removable shell of the pocket wagon, lifting it and setting it down outside the receptacle of the railway structure, preferably on the platform or at an angle across the railroad tracks. The method also includes equipping a locking device on the kingpin of the semi-trailer previously disconnected from its road tractor and loading the semi-trailer by means of a handling machine, by causing it to roll on the bottom wall of the removable shell. The method further includes attaching the locking device to the removable shell, and grasping the loaded shell with the handling machine, lifting it and loading it on the pocket wagon by engaging it in the receptacle of the railway structure.
Raisable carrying device
A raisable carrying device for loading cargo onto a rail vehicle using a hoisting unit. The carrying device includes at least one supporting unit for the cargo, holding pockets for the hoisting unit, and support surfaces for placing the carrying device directly on the floor of a terminal.
Railway wagon for transporting trucks and method for loading and unloading truck
Disclosed is a railway wagon for transporting trucks, including a middle running board device, end running board devices respectively arranged at two ends of the middle running board device, and a bridge board device arranged at the outer end of each end running board device. The middle running board device includes of multiple middle running board assemblies. Each middle running board assembly includes a running board connected to a side wall. At least one support plate connected to the side wall is arranged below the running board. Each end running board device includes multiple end running board assemblies. Each end running board assembly includes a running board connected to the side wall. At least one support plate connected to the side wall is arranged below the running board.
LIFTABLE CARRYING DEVICE
A liftable carrying apparatus includes a carrying frame having at least two longitudinal beams extending relative to each other and connected with each other. The carrying frame has, a first support for the cargo, which first support can be driven on up to a maximum width transversely relative to the at least two longitudinal beams. A receiving location is provided for the lifting apparatus, and contact surfaces are provided for direct placement of the carrying apparatus on a terminal floor. A second support is arranged at or between arms of a first support device. A length of the arms is selected so that the first support in a first pivotal position of the arms is prolonged by the second in such a way that it can be driven on and that the second support is raised in a second pivotal position of the arms relative to the first support.
System for immobilizing a semi-trailer kingpin on a transport vehicle
A system for immobilizing a semi-trailer kingpin on a transport vehicle includes a balance arm and a substantially horizontal rigid linking structure designed to guide the vertical movement of the receiving nacelle, hold it in position above the lifting system in a horizontal plane and take up the forces exerted thereon. The longitudinal rigid linking structure is hingedly linked to the receiving nacelle and to the transport vehicle in order to take up the longitudinal forces from same, and the balance arm includes preloaded springs that take up the forces exerted on the balance arm when the receiving nacelle is temporarily inclined relative to the horizontal plane. The lifting system for lifting the receiving nacelle is mounted pivoting on the railway unit at a pivot pin transverse to the longitudinal axis of the transport vehicle.
DEMAND-BASED DISTRIBUTION OF ITEMS USING INTERMODAL CARRIERS AND UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
Intermodal vehicles may be loaded with items and an aerial vehicle, and directed to travel to areas where demand for the items is known or anticipated. The intermodal vehicles may be coupled to locomotives, container ships, road tractors or other vehicles, and equipped with systems for loading one or more items onto the aerial vehicle, and for launching or retrieving the aerial vehicle while the intermodal vehicles are in motion. The areas where the demand is known or anticipated may be identified on any basis, including but not limited to past histories of purchases or deliveries to such areas, or events that are scheduled to occur in such areas. Additionally, intermodal vehicles may be loaded with replacement parts and/or inspection equipment, and configured to conduct repairs, servicing operations or inspections on aerial vehicles within the intermodal vehicles, while the intermodal vehicles are in motion.
