Gummy composition and method for producing the same
A raw material for a gummy composition, and a gummy candy composed of the gummy composition, contain pyroglutamic acid, preferably in an amount of 0.08 mass % to 1.5 mass %. By adding pyroglutamic acid, the gummy candy has an improved melt-in-the-mouth feeling, while also being non-adhesive and soft, and having improved flavor release during chewing.

DELIVERY APPARATUS TO DELIVER A HIDDEN ITEM INSIDE A FOOD
Packaging and delivery apparatus, systems, and assemblies are shown and described. In one embodiment, a device to deliver a concealed article about a food item includes a base; a plate assembly aligned above the base; a shuttle adapted to traverse a length of the plate assembly; and a release mechanism. The result is an improved hidden display and assembly for enhancing efficient, effective delivery of a hidden item inside a food item(s) or the like.
CONFECTIONERY PRODUCT
A composite structure comprising a hollow shell and a filling placed therein. The shell is made of an edible chocolate-based material that may be, in particular, a chocolate couverture, bitter, dark or milk chocolate. A fat-, fondant-, jelly-, caramel-based mass may be used as the filling. The filling may also comprise various additives, such as, for example, crushed nuts, crunches, candied fruits
Hard candy optics
Functional optical equipment such as lenses, prisms, optical flats, and color filters are made from hard candy, resulting in working optics that can be treated as either experimental equipment or confectionaries. These hard candy optics are manufactured by an extremely precise casting process, which avoids the need to polish or reshape the candy after casting and allows for the production of a wider selection of optical equipment. This process also allows the inclusion of features that expand the applications of the hard candy optics, but are not themselves optically functional.

Baked confectionery
Baked confectionery containing insoluble dietary fiber in an amount of from 5.0 to 20.0 mass % and starch in an amount of from 20 to 45 mass %, wherein a content of gliadin in the baked confectionery is 1.1 mass % or less, and the insoluble dietary fiber contains insoluble dietary fiber derived from bran of wheat variety.

METHOD FOR PREPARING A MULTILAYER CONFECTIONARY PRODUCT
Disclosed is a method for preparing a multilayer confectionary product including a paste confectionery center, surrounded by an intermediate layer of chewy candy material, surrounded in turn by a layer of amorphous candy material, to the multilayer confectionery product obtained by the process and to an apparatus for producing the multilayer confectionary product. The multilayer confectionary product can be further coated with a hard coating.
Candy dispenser
A candy dispenser include a dispenser housing having a dispenser housing opening, a candy reservoir within the dispenser housing having a candy reservoir chute aligned with the dispenser housing opening, and a dispenser shield disposed within the dispenser housing and movable so that a dispenser shield opening can align with the dispenser housing opening and the candy reservoir chute at a dispensing position to dispense a candy piece. An indeterminate outcome actuation mechanism with an actuation mechanism input device causes the dispenser shield to move between the dispensing position and at least one non-dispensing position when the actuation mechanism input device is displaced such that the dispenser shield may be disposed in any one of the dispensing position and the non-dispensing positions when the actuation mechanism input device is displaced so that a candy piece may or may not be dispensed each time.
