ADJUSTABLE STEERING ASSEMBLY
In at least some implementations, an adjustable steering assembly for a vehicle includes a steering shaft, a steering input that is coupled to the steering shaft, and an adjustment device. The adjustment device has a drive member coupled to one of the steering input or the steering shaft, and a reaction member coupled to the other one of the steering input or the steering shaft. The drive member rotates with said one of the steering input or the steering shaft to which the drive member is coupled to permit steering rotation of the steering shaft, and the drive member is rotated relative to said one of the steering input or the steering shaft to which the drive member is coupled to change the rotational position of the steering input relative to the steering shaft.
STEERING COLUMN FOR AUTOMOTIVE
According to various example embodiments, there is provided a steering column for an automotive vehicle including, an inner tube 100 surrounding a steering shaft 120, an outer tube 110 into which the inner tube 100 is inserted, a nut screw 230 mounted on the outside of the outer tube 110 and fixed to the inner tube 100, and a first lead screw 210 which is inserted into the nut screw 230 and screwed therein and is rotated by a motor. In the steering column for the automotive vehicle, the nut screw 230 and the inner tube 100 are transferred together by translational motion by rotation of the first lead screw 210.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING STEERING WHEEL
Disclosed are an apparatus and method for adjusting a steering wheel, the apparatus including an image capturing unit configured to capture images of a current state of a steering wheel at multiple angles, an analysis unit configured to create leveling information on zero adjustment of the steering wheel by processing the image acquired by the image capturing unit, and a control unit configured to calculate an error from preset reference leveling information depending on the leveling information created by the analysis unit and performing the zero adjustment on the steering wheel by controlling a drive unit for operating the steering wheel depending on the calculated error.
Steering column for a motor vehicle
A steering column for a motor vehicle, comprising a casing unit, in which a steering spindle is mounted rotatably about a longitudinal axis and which has at least two casing tubes which are guided adjustably relative to one another by an adjustment distance in the direction of the longitudinal axis. In order to permit easier adjustment, the casing tubes can be brought along the adjustment distance relative to one another into at least one comfort region and at least one transition region, wherein a transition adjustment force for the relative adjustment of the casing tubes in the transition region is smaller than a comfort adjustment force for the relative adjustment of the casing tubes in the comfort region.

Interior system of a vehicle
A vehicle interior system for a vehicle includes a steering wheel support assembly operable between retracted and extended positions and having a steering wheel coupled thereto, a foot pedal disposed within a foot well of the vehicle and operable between a foot pedal use position and a foot pedal stowed position, and a foot rest disposed within the foot well and operable between a foot rest use position and a foot rest stowed position. The movement of the steering wheel support assembly toward the retracted position causes the foot pedal to move toward the foot pedal stowed position and the foot rest to move toward the foot rest use position.

STEERING COLUMN FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A steering column may include a casing tube in which a steering spindle is rotatably mounted, a guide unit that receives the casing unit so as to be telescopically adjustable in a direction of a longitudinal axis, and an electromotor adjustment drive that is arranged between the casing tube and the guide unit. An inner bearing face of the guide unit surrounds an outer casing surface of the casing tube and includes a slot extending longitudinally with a slot width between mutually opposing slot edges. A preload device engages the slot edges and is configured to apply a tightening force to reduce the slot width to preload the bearing face together with the casing surface. A clamping body cooperates with the slot edges via a deflection device that converts a reduction of slot width into a radial clamping movement of the clamping body for radial preloading the outer casing surface.
