Steering actuators for vehicles
Steering actuators for vehicles are described herein. An example actuator includes a rack to be coupled to a knuckle of a vehicle, a ball nut coupled to the rack, a ring gear coupled to the ball nut, and a motor with a pinion engaged with the ring gear. The motor is to rotate the ball nut, via the pinion and the ring gear, to move the rack linearly.
STEERING APPARATUS
A steering apparatus includes a turning shaft movable in a vehicle widthwise direction, a pinion shaft meshed with the turning shaft and a first housing that retains therein the turning shaft and the pinion shaft. An inner circumferential surface of the first housing facing with the turning shaft is provided with an inclined portion that continuously changes an internal diameter. When a portion where a tooth of the turning shaft and a tooth of the pinion shaft are meshed with each other is defined as a meshed portion, the inclined portion is formed below at least the meshed portion.
STEERING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
According to the present embodiments, it is possible to ensure normal steering and the driver's safety by preventing jumping without proper engagement between the teeth of the pulley and the belt.
Rack assist electric power steering apparatus
A rack assist electric power steering apparatus. Shock between a rotary support member and a housing is absorbed. Backlash and friction in the rotary support member are reduced. The length of a ball nut is minimized, and the rotary support member is supported by a portion in which the ball nut and a rack bar are coupled, so that noise is reduced.
RACK ASSIST TYPE POWER STERRING APPARATUS
A rack assist type power steering apparatus according to the embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a rack bar provided with an outer screw groove on an outer circumferential surface, a ball nut having an inner screw groove corresponding to the outer screw groove on an inner circumferential surface, and a bearing coupled to an outer circumferential surface, and a nut pulley provided with a belt coupling portion on an outer peripheral surface, and one end of an inner circumferential surface is provided with a support end coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the ball nut to support the bearing, and an other end of an inner circumferential surface is provided with an enlarged diameter portion which is stepped from the support end and increases in inner diameter.
ELECTRIC ACTUATOR STEERING SYSTEM FOR FORKLIFTS
An electric actuator for a steering system is adapted to control an angle of steered wheels on a vehicle to adjust a direction of travel of the vehicle. The electric actuator includes a housing assembly, an electric motor, and an actuation unit. The housing assembly is arranged around the electric motor and the electric motor is coupled with the actuation unit and configured to cause an actuator rod of the actuation unit to move relative to the housing assembly.
Motor-assisted steering ball-screw
A power assisted steering system provides a gear reduction between a steering wheel and a steering mechanism and a much larger gear reduction between an electric motor and a steering mechanism. The system is back-driveable from the steering mechanism. The system utilizes a ball-screw, several helical gears, and two bevel gears. A rack fixed to the ball-screw nut drives a sector gear.
STEERING DEVICE
Provided is a steering device including a lock nut that fixes an outer race of a turning nut threadably engaged with a rack bar. A loosening prevention protruding portion formed on a lock nut main body is brought into contact with a radial-direction abutting portion to prevent loosening of the lock nut with a frictional force. At the same time, a lock nut recessed portion for reducing mechanical stiffness is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the loosening prevention protruding portion so that an external force acting from the outer race is buffered by the lock nut recessed portion. In this manner, a decrease in contact area between the loosening prevention protruding portion and the radial-direction abutting portion is reduced.
Steering System for a Vehicle
A steering system for a vehicle includes a transmission cover on a steering gear housing. The cover is arranged adjacent to a bearing part. The side surface of the bearing part facing the transmission cover forms a support surface for the transmission cover.
STEERING-ASSISTING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a steering-assisting device. Specifically, a steering-assisting device according to the present disclosure comprises: a stator having a plurality of coils wound thereon; a rotor which is rotated by the stator; and a connection part for transferring rotation force generated in accordance with rotation of the rotor to a rack bar, wherein the connection part is connected to the rack bar in a manner for minimizing vibration generated according to a winding pattern of the stator when at least one of the coils of the stator malfunctions.
