Motor Control Device, Electric Power Steering Device, and Vehicle
There are provided a motor control device, an electric power steering device, and a vehicle that allow an electric motor to be accurately drive-controlled even when a failure occurs in a motor electric angle detection unit that detects a motor electric angle. When at least one of a resolver and an angle computation unit is diagnosed as being abnormal in an initial diagnosis after a system restart, a motor electric angle initial value is estimated on a basis of a response output of a three-phase electric motor in response to input of a motor drive signal to the three-phase electric motor, a motor electric angle estimation vale is calculated on a basis of an output shaft rotation angle detection value detected by an output-side rotation angle sensor and a relative offset amount estimated on a basis of the estimated motor electric angle initial value, and the three-phase electric motor is drive-controlled on a basis of the calculated motor electric angle estimation value.
STEERING CONTROL APPARATUS
Using an update amount, an update amount calculating circuit manipulates a phase-control angle so as to perform feedback control such that a steering torque corresponds to a target torque. The steering torque is obtained by reducing a steering torque in magnitude by a predetermined value. The phase-control angle is used to convert a current command value to a value of a fixed coordinate system, for example. Using a guard value, a guard processing circuit performs a guard process on a current command value set by a command value setting circuit, so that the current command value becomes the current command value. The guard value is used to determine an appropriate range for a variation in the current command value in accordance with an amount by which the steering torque exceeds in magnitude the target torque.

An electric motor drive control device includes: an inverter circuit that converts DC power inputted via a DC bus to multiphase AC power and outputs the multiphase AC power to an electric motor; a current detector that detects a DC current flowing in the DC bus; a PWM generator that generates PWM signals and outputs the PWM signals to the inverter circuit; a current calculator that calculates a current value for each of phases to be flowed to the electric motor based upon a value of the DC current and the PWM signals; and a current controller that generates a command signal based upon the current value, and outputs the command signal to the PWM generator, wherein: if one of the phases of the AC power has become missing, the current calculator determines which phase is one that has become missing and calculates current values for other phases.
MOTOR DRIVE DEVICE AND ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE
A motor drive device includes a plurality of control systems that individually supply drive currents to a plurality of coil groups included in a motor. The motor drive device independently sets the current command values for the respective control systems. Based on the set current command values, drive instructions are supplied to drive circuits of inverters with respect to the respective control systems, thereby supplying drive currents from the inverters to the coil groups. The motor drive device detects a failure in any of the inverters and the coil groups with respect to each control system, and stops only the failed control system or causes only the failed control system to fall back. The motor drive device further includes a main computing device, and an auxiliary computing device. Consequently, if the auxiliary computing device is normal even in case the main computing device fails, driving of the motor can be continued using one or some of the control systems.
