The first control system and the second control system are each configured to control power supply to the plurality of coils of the motor based on the command value. The first control system includes a first microcomputer that has first characteristics, and the second control system includes a second microcomputer that has second characteristics that are different from the first characteristics.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MOTOR DRIVEN POWER STEERING SYSTEM
An apparatus for controlling an MDPS system including: an autonomous driving cancellation determination unit configured to determine whether to cancel autonomous driving, using column torque passed through a band stop filter, under an autonomous driving condition; and a signal processing unit configured to calculate command steering angle acceleration information using command steering angle information outputted from an autonomous driving system. When the steering angle acceleration information is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference value, the autonomous driving cancellation determination unit may determine that urgent steering is performed by the autonomous driving system, and forbid cancellation of the autonomous driving.
Apparatus for and method of compensating for steering error in advanced driving assistance system
Disclosed are an apparatus for and a method of compensating for a steering error in an advanced driving assistance system, and the apparatus includes a command steering angle correction module that corrects a command steering angle according to whether or not the command steering angle input from the advanced driving assistance system satisfies a preset error compensation condition; and a motor control unit that controls a motor of a motor-driven power steering system according to the command steering angle corrected by the command steering angle correction module.
Electric power steering device
There is provided an electric power steering device, including: a reverse steering detection unit configured to determine start of reverse steering when a magnitude of a rotational speed of a motor is equal to or smaller than a set speed, a rotational acceleration of the motor is in a direction of causing the rotational speed of the motor to become 0, and a magnitude of the rotational acceleration of the motor is equal to or larger than a set acceleration; and a current command control unit configured to output a current command for the motor based on the steering torque or the rotational speed of the motor, in which the current command control unit is configured to increase a transfer gain from input to output by the current command control unit when the reverse steering detection unit determines start of the reverse steering.
CONTROL DEVICE
A control device is configured to control an operation of a control target. The control device is configured to monitor an abnormality. The control device is configured to store abnormality information according to an abnormality monitor result. When the abnormality of a monitor target is detected, an abnormality treatment confirmation determination related to a transition determination to an abnormality treatment due to an occurrence of the abnormality is different from an abnormality storage confirmation determination that causes the control device to store, as the abnormality information, the abnormality of the monitor target.
Steering system with multiple controllers
A system includes a steering-system motor, a first electronic control unit (ECU) and a second ECU each electrically connected to the steering-system motor, a communication line directly communicatively connecting the first ECU and the second ECU, and a gateway module communicatively connecting the first ECU to a controller area network (CAN) bus and communicatively connecting the second ECU to the CAN bus. The first ECU is programmed to, upon detecting a fault, transmit a fault code to the second ECU via the communication line and via the gateway module. The second ECU is programmed to, upon detecting a fault, transmit a fault code to the first ECU via the communication line and via the gateway module.
GENERIC ACTUATOR WITH CUSTOMIZED LOCAL FEEDBACK
A method for controlling an actuator. The method includes generating, in response to receiving a torque command signal from a first controller, an actuator control signal. The method also includes selectively controlling the actuator based on the actuator control signal. The method also includes, in response to identifying a fault associated with the first controller: generating, responsive to a determination that a partition associated with a second controller includes a fallback indicator, a fallback actuator control signal; and selectively controlling the actuator based on the fallback actuator control signal.
System and method for unintended steering mitigation
A method for unintended steering mitigation includes receiving at least one hand wheel measurement correspond to a hand wheel of a vehicle. The method also includes determining a hand wheel return value corresponding to the at least one hand wheel measurement. The method also includes receiving a torque value corresponding to propulsion of the vehicle. The method also includes determining whether the torque value is above a threshold. The method also includes, in response to a determination that the torque value is above the threshold adjusting the hand wheel return value based on the torque value and selectively controlling return of the hand wheel based on the adjusted hand wheel return value.
Controller for motor
A controller for a motor includes a first processing circuit and a second processing circuit configured to communicate with each other. The first processing circuit is configured to execute a first operation amount calculation process, an operation process, and an output process. The first operation amount calculation process is a process of calculating a first operation amount. The output process is a process of outputting the first operation amount to the second processing circuit. The second processing circuit is configured to execute a second operation amount calculation process, a first use operation process, a second use operation process, and an elimination process.
Electric power steering device
With an object of allowing steering wheel operation to be carried out easily at a normal time and when an abnormality occurs, the invention includes a motor having two windings and a control unit having two control systems that supply control signals to each winding of the motor, and when an abnormality occurs in one winding of the motor or in one system inside the control unit, a supply of current to the winding in which the abnormality has occurred is cut to zero, and the motor is driven by a predetermined current necessary at a normal time being supplied to the other winding, while at a time of a normal drive when no abnormality has occurred, the current supply is shared between the two windings, whereby the motor is driven.
