A power steering system of a vehicle and a control method are provided. The integrated power steering system reduces the number of components, manufacturing costs, and power loss of a vehicle using components together, such as a hydraulic pump, a controller, and a control valve, used in an emergency steering system and a rear wheel steering system. The system includes a main hydraulic motor that receives engine power and generates a hydraulic pressure and an auxiliary hydraulic motor that generates a hydraulic pressure. A front wheel steering cylinder receives hydraulic pressure and generates power for steering front wheels and auxiliary steering of a driver and a rear wheel steering cylinder receives hydraulic pressure and generates power for steering rear wheels. An integrated control valve is connected to the hydraulic motors and the steering cylinders through hydraulic pressure pipelines, and adjusts the hydraulic pressure generated by a main hydraulic motor to supply the pressure to the front wheel steering cylinder and adjusts the hydraulic pressure generated by the auxiliary hydraulic motor to supply the pressure to the front wheel steering cylinder or the rear wheel steering cylinder. A controller operates the auxiliary hydraulic motor and the integrated control valve to supply the hydraulic pressure generated by the main hydraulic motor to the front wheel steering cylinder and the hydraulic pressure generated by the auxiliary hydraulic motor to the front wheel steering cylinder or the rear wheel steering cylinder when the steering wheel is manipulated.

Steering intermediate arm

A steering intermediate arm for linking dual steer axles on a vehicle is mountable for pivoting movement on a vehicle frame rail about a non-horizontal axis. The intermediate arm provides for a connection between a first linking rod extending rearwardly from a pitman arm and a second linking rod extending rearwardly to a steering arm of a rearward steerable axle of the dual steerable axles.

AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

An agricultural machine includes a frame, a steerable front axis, a steerable rear axis, a trigger element which is deflectable depending on a front axis deflection, and a transmission device having a trigger part and a steering part. The steering part steers the rear axis. The trigger element acts on the trigger part and at least partially deflects the trigger part in a deceleration steering mode of the agricultural machine when an absolute amount of the front axis deflection exceeds a threshold value. The transmission device deflects the rear axis in an opposite direction to the front axis as a result of the at least partial deflection of the trigger part and by transmitting a force from the trigger part to the steering part.

The disclosure relates to a steering system for a mobile work machine, in particular for a mobile crane, which comprises at least one mechanically steerable front axle, at least one passively-steered rear axle, as well as at least one rear axle that is steerable by means of at least one steering cylinder. The front and rear axles are arranged one behind the other along a longitudinal axis of the steering system and comprise wheels, the axes of rotation of which, virtually extended, in the case of cornering, on the side of the curve center, intersect a common steering pole plane positioned perpendicularly on the longitudinal axis. According to the disclosure, at least one passively-steered rear axle is arranged between a front axle and the steering pole plane. The disclosure furthermore relates to a mobile work machine comprising such a steering system.

Utility Vehicle

A utility vehicle includes a chassis frame, a front axle coupled to the chassis frame and having steerable wheels, and a rear axle coupled to the chassis frame. A steering system is used to deflect the wheels of the front axle and includes a steering gear arranged between the front axle and the rear axle. The steering system includes a redirection lever arranged in front of the front axle and is coupled to a first coupling rod that is coupled to the steering gear. A second coupling rod is coupled to the redirection lever and to a wheel carrier of the front axle. On actuation of the steering gear, the first coupling rod and the second coupling rod are configured to deflect the steerable wheels to turn the utility vehicle in the desired direction.
