Fender assembly for a tractor
A fender assembly for a tractor, as well as a tractor having such a fender assembly. The fender assembly is constructed as first and second fender parts, connected via a rail. The rail has a partial spiral or helical shape. As a result, the second fender part is moveable on the rail along a path substantially parallel to a portion of the circumference of a wheel of the tractor, in a direction downwardly and outwardly relative to the first fender part. This provides a fender assembly allowing for improved access to tractor components located inboard of the fender assembly, as well as allowing for ease of access to the second fender part for an operator standing on the ground adjacent the tractor.
EXTERNALLY MOUNTED TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
A tire inflation system integrated with vehicle aerodynamic and wheel-end components, such as fairings, wheel covers and mud shields. Fluid conduits may route pressurized fluid from a fluid pressure source to a rotary union mounted at a wheel end. The fluid conduits may be routed along or through various aerodynamic and wheel-end components.
Tractor fender assembly
A fender assembly for an agricultural tractor including a carrier bracket which supports a wheel fender adjacent to a vehicle wheel. A steering mechanism is provided as part of the fender assembly, such that the wheel fender can be rotated relative to the carrier bracket. Accordingly, the rotation of the wheel fender can be controlled based on a steering signal generated by the vehicle steering system, to ensure that the wheel fender accurately follows the movement of the adjacent tractor wheel.
Wheel well cover for a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle equipped therewith
An optically and aerodynamically improved body for a motor vehicle has a wheel well cover with at least one wheel well for receiving a wheel. The wheel well cover is designed in such a way as to be adjustable by an adjusting mechanism in accordance with the wheel angle, and includes at least two ring portions which surround part of the wheel and which are arranged in such a way as to be movable at least partially into each other and at least partially relative to one another.
LAWN MOWER FENDER
A fender for a lawn mower having tire wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire, and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.
AERODYNAMIC SYSTEM AND ADJUSTABLE FAIRINGS
Embodiments provide an aerodynamic fairing system that may comprise a base configured to mount to a vehicle, an arm coupled to the base at a proximate end and extending laterally, and a fairing mounted to the arm having an inboard and an outboard surface. The fairing outboard surface may provide an aerodynamic outer surface to direct flow to an angle to the rear. The arm may a fixed or adjustable length arm. The arm may provide a mounting area for a mud flap such that aerodynamic system may act as a mud flap hanger. Embodiments also provide an adjustable mud flap hanger.

Stowable tractor mud flap
Drag reducing systems for tractor-trailer combination vehicles are provided. In one aspect, a drag reducing assembly generally includes a stowable mud flap rotatably coupled to a mounting bracket and a linkage. The linkage is configured to transition the mud flap between a first, deployed position, to a second, stowed position. The mud flap is generally positioned adjacent a wheel and tire of the vehicle, downstream of airflow. In the first position, the mud flap may be deployed at an angle of about 90 to the ground. In the second position, the mud flap may be stowed at an angle of about 90 from the first position.
VEHICLE
A vehicle structural support is disclosed having first and second metallic members. A first metallic member has first and second sides, where the second side has a reduced thickness section. A second metallic member is coupled to a first side of the first metallic member. A third member is coupled to the first metallic member and positioned in the reduced thickness section. The second metallic member extends beyond the reduced thickness section to at least partially overlap the third member. The third member may be a fender for a vehicle.
