TRACK ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A mower includes a pair of track assemblies positioned on either side of a chassis. The track assemblies include drive wheels coupled to axles driven by an engine. A rocker rigidly mounts to the chassis independently of the engagement of the drive wheel with the axle. The rocker rotatably mounts to a mounting flange fastened to the chassis and includes a plurality of axles to which bogey wheels are mounted. The rocker is vertically below the axle and may be longitudinally centered on the axle or may be asymmetric with respect to the axle. All weight transferred is transferred to a track surrounding the drive wheel and bogey wheels through the rocker assembly engaging the chassis and no weight is transferred to the axle. A suspension may mount the track assembly to the chassis and the track may be long enough to replace front and back wheels.
TRACK WHEEL SUSPENSION FOR A CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A track wheel suspension for a construction machine is provided comprising a track wheel engageable to a track, a swing device, a swing bar and a restraining mechanism for at least restraining a movement of the swing device about a swing axis in at least a first direction.
TRACK WHEEL SUSPENSION FOR A CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A track wheel suspension for a construction machine is introduced. The track wheel suspension comprises a track wheel engageable to a track and a swing device comprising a first coupling portion. The first coupling portion is arranged for rotatably supporting the track wheel. Furthermore, the track wheel suspension comprises a swing bar with a first bar end which is arranged for being mounted to a second coupling portion of the swing device. The swing bar provides a swing axis which is offset from a rotation axis of the track wheel such that a swing movement of the swing device enables a movement of the track wheel in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis.
BLAST MITIGATING RESTRAINT SYSTEM
A torsion bar restraint system for tracked combat vehicles that aids in the improvement of occupant survival rates when associated with asymmetric threats. The blast mitigating restraint system can reduce the dynamic deflection of torsion bars based on the severity of the blast impulse as needed. Systems comprise one or more components that secure the torsion bar to the hull for protecting against dynamic deflection and lateral displacement. The two disclosed components, an end restraint device and an M-Ring restraining device, can be used in conjunction or independently from each other based on the type of threat likely to be encountered.
WHEEL SUSPENSION FOR A TWO-TRACK VEHICLE
A wheel suspension for a two-track vehicle having at least one stabilizer formed as a stabilizer torsion spring rod, with the stabilizer extending in the vehicle's transverse direction and having a drive lever on at least one vehicle side, which acts upon a wheel guidance element of the wheel suspension, and having at least one suspension spring, which is tensioned with a spring preload between the vehicle body and a wheel guidance element of the wheel suspension. The suspension spring is at least partially formed as a suspension spring/torsion spring rod. The suspension spring/torsion spring rod is arranged radially within the stabilizer torsion spring rod designed as a hollow rod.
Torsional suspensioned, steerable, oscillating and propelling axle assembly
A Torsional Suspensioned, Steerable, Oscillating and Propelling Axle Assembly utilized in the individual track units of a multi track unit all-terrain vehicle or machine with axle assemblies providing/enabling suspension, steering, oscillation and propelling functions of the track units of the all-terrain vehicle or machine.
Torsion axle lockout assembly
A suspension system for supporting a ground engaging member relative to a frame is provided. The suspension system includes a torsion axle assembly including an arm, an axle coupled to the ground engaging member and connected to the arm, a shaft connected to the arm and a tube that is connected to the frame. The tube is configured such that at least a portion of the shaft is received in the tube and supported by the tube for rotation relative to the tube and the frame. A lockout assembly includes a coupling mechanism that is selectively operable to fix the shaft against rotational movement with respect to the tube.
Compact track loader with lockable suspension system
A suspension assembly of a work machine being movable in a forward direction. The work machine includes a frame, an undercarriage supporting the frame and at least one ground-engaging track. The suspension assembly includes a torsion assembly having an axle, a torsion bar adapted to be fixedly coupled to the frame, and an axle arm coupled at one end to the axle and at an opposite end thereof to the torsion bar. A locking arm has a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the axle arm. A hydraulic actuator is coupled to the second end of the locking arm. The hydraulic actuator is operably controlled between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. In the unlocked configuration, the axle arm is pivotable relative to the frame, and in the locked configuration the axle arm is restricted from pivoting relative to the frame.
Controls for a work machine
A compact work machine, such as a compact track loader and/or a compact utility loader, which can carry and operate a wide range of attachments while maintaining a reduced operating footprint.
