Master link joint for a track undercarriage and method of retrofitting an existing undercarriage
A master link joint for a drive chain is disclosed. The disclosed master link joint includes two master links. Each master link includes a first half link and a second half link that engage each other along mating abutment surfaces. The two master links are disposed on opposite sides of the chain. The first half links are coupled by a pin that traverses the chain and the second half links are coupled by a bushing that traverses the chain. The mating abutment surfaces include a first ramp that meets a second offset ramp at a junction or root. An angle defined by the second ramps of the mating abutment surfaces and a line parallel to the rail or bottom pad of the half links ranges from about 45 to about 53.
UNDERCARRIAGE ASSEMBLY
An undercarriage assembly associated with a machine is provided. The undercarriage assembly includes a ground engaging track adapted to crawl on a ground surface. The ground engaging track includes a plurality of track shoes. The ground engaging track also includes a plurality of pairs of track links pivotally connected to one another. Each of the track links includes a body member having a first side surface and a second side surface. The body member also includes a mounting hole defined in the body member. The mounting hole extends angularly with respect to the shoe surface. The ground engaging track further includes a coupling mechanism. The coupling mechanism includes a coupling member adapted to be received within the mounting hole, and welded to the track shoe to couple each of the plurality of track shoes with the respective track links.
TRACK SHOE
A track shoe for a track of a large hydraulic excavator comprises a plate-shaped base having a substantially rectangular base surface and being defined in a circumferential direction by a left side surface, a right side surface, a front surface and a rear surface. The front surface and the rear surface include a front stopper and a rear stopper, respectively. The front stopper and the rear stopper limit a negative rotation of adjacent track shoes in the track to a predetermined angle.
Track system and method for use with rubber tire equipment
A track system for use with multiple in-line wheels of a vehicle is disclosed. The track includes a plurality of track members linked together forming a loop encircling the wheels. The track members each include a base, sidewalls, and a removable shoe. The shoe can be bolted to the base and can be removed from the base. The shoe can have a rubber pad, a grouser, or another tread.

TRACK LINK STRUCTURE AND PIN JOINT ASSEMBLY
A track link includes a link body having first and second sides, a rail surface, a shoe engaging surface, and first and second end portions. A link pin bore at the first end portion is configured to receive a link pin. A bushing bore at the second end portion is configured to receive a bushing. A link pin boss is located at the first end portion on the first side and surrounds the link pin bore. A bushing boss is located at the second end portion on the second side and surrounds the bushing bore.
Undercarriage assembly for a work machine and method of use
A work machine includes an undercarriage assembly. The undercarriage assembly includes a chassis and a ground-engaging mechanism for rotating around the chassis to move the work machine. A pair of rails is coupled to the chassis. A pair of sliders is coupled to a front-assembly. The sliders are aligned with the rails and movable relative to the rails to facilitate movement of the front-end assembly relative to the chassis.

Anti-skid chain having a rotation-blocking element between adjacent chain links
The invention relates to an anti-skid chain for tires, in particular for bogie axles, wherein the anti-skid chain has two laterally stable guide chains which, when installed, are arranged to the side of the treads of the tires, wherein the anti-skid chain has a flexible chain mesh which extends between the two guide chains, and wherein at least one guide chain has chain links which are interconnected in an articulated manner by means of joint pins in the circumferential direction, and at least one rotation-blocking element by means of which a maximum joint angle between two interconnected chain links is defined. In order to prevent lateral pulling of the anti-skid chain and, at the same time, to provide an anti-skid chain that is easy to produce, according to the invention, a part of the rotation-blocking element is located on at least one of the joint pins
