A tracked vehicle, such as tracked carrier to carry and enable use of work equipment on various terrains, is provided. The tracked vehicle may comprise a frame comprising an equipment mounting area for mounting work equipment above the frame. The frame may comprise a pair of side rails that have a spacing in a widthwise direction of the tracked vehicle which corresponds to a standard truck frame side rail spacing. An operator cabin comprises a seating area which may comprise a single seat for an operator or a first seat for the operator and a second seat for a second person next to the operator. At least part of a power plant of the tracked vehicle may be mounted above the frame and behind the operator cabin. The tracked vehicle comprises a plurality of track assemblies for traction of the tracked vehicle.

TRACK SYSTEM

A track system includes an attachment assembly including at least one of a first pivot defining a roll pivot axis, a second pivot defining a pitch pivot axis, and a third pivot defining a yaw pivot axis of the track system. A frame assembly is disposed laterally outwardly from the attachment assembly and connected to the attachment assembly. The track system further includes at least one actuator for pivoting the frame assembly about at least one of the roll and yaw pivot axes, and at least one monitoring for determining, at least indirectly, at least one of a state of the track system and a ground surface condition. The at least one monitoring sensor is communicating with a track system controller to control the operation of the at least one actuator based on the at least one of the state of the track system and the ground surface condition.

TRACK SYSTEM

A track system includes an attachment assembly, a frame assembly connected to the attachment assembly including at least one wheel-bearing frame member. The track system further has leading and trailing idler wheel assemblies at least indirectly connected to the at least one wheel-bearing frame member, at least one support wheel assembly at least indirectly connected to the at least one wheel-bearing frame member, an endless track extending around the leading idler wheel assembly, the trailing idler wheel assembly, and the at least one support wheel assembly. At least one monitoring sensor connected to the endless track and including an array of sensing devices communicates with a track system controller for determining, at least indirectly, at least one of a state of the track system and a ground surface condition.

TETHERED TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR USE IN RUBBER EMBEDDED APPLICATIONS

One general aspect includes a tethered temperature sensor (300) for use within a vehicle track (100). The tethered temperature sensor (300) includes one or more sensors (308) for measuring temperature located in a high strain and high temperature region (104) of the vehicle track (100). The sensor also includes circuitry (402) configured to control and/or monitor the one or more sensors and located in a low strain and low temperature region (102) of the vehicle track (100). The sensor also includes a housing (406) to contain the circuitry. The sensor also includes an encapsulating material (408) that fills an interior of the housing (406).

A work vehicle may include a load sensor, an engine, a drive train driven by the engine and a track system including at least one track. The track system is connected to the drive train. The work vehicle may further comprise a temperature sensor configured to sense a temperature and a vehicle control system configured to receive the sensed temperature and a vehicle load from the load sensor. The vehicle control system is configured to output a work speed vehicle alert based upon a combination of the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor and the vehicle load sensed by the load sensor.

The track system includes a transmission for transmitting power from the axle of the vehicle to the drive wheel such that a rotational speed of the drive wheel is different from a rotational speed of the axle of the vehicle. The track system includes a connector disposed between the transmission and the bogie such that the bogie is movable (e.g., pivotable) relative to the transmission. The connector may be disposed below an output shaft of the transmission.

The rubber crawler of the present invention includes a guide rubber obtained by crosslinking a guide rubber composition and an inner peripheral rubber obtained by crosslinking an inner peripheral rubber composition, the guide rubber composition containing a rubber component (A) and a carbon black (B), the rubber component (A) containing a butadiene rubber and at least one selected from a natural rubber and isoprene rubber, and containing 50 to 80% by mass of the natural rubber and the isoprene rubber and 20 to 50% by mass of the butadiene rubber, the carbon black (B) containing a carbon black (B-1) having an N.sub.2SA of 60 to 125 m.sup.2/g and a DBP absorption of less than 130 mL/100 g and a carbon black (B-2) having an N.sub.2SA of less than 60 m.sup.2/g and a DBP absorption of 110 mL/100 g or more, and a total content of the carbon black (B-1) and the carbon black (B-2) is 25 to 65 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; the inner peripheral rubber composition containing a rubber component (a) and a carbon black (b), the rubber component (a) containing 60 to 100% by mass of SBR and 0 to 40% by mass of a diene-based rubber other than the styrene-butadiene rubber, and a carbon black in an amount of 50 to 70 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
