Multi-sprocket arrangement for a bicycle
The invention relates to a multi-sprocket arrangement for installation on a rear-wheel hub and for engagement with a bicycle chain. The multi-sprocket arrangement includes at least ten adjacent sprockets with different numbers of teeth. In each case of the at least ten adjacent sprockets two adjacent sprockets of the sprockets are arranged with a defined spacing to one another. The defined spacing corresponds either to a smallest spacing or to a larger spacing.
Bicycle and spider capable of measuring power
A bicycle has a spider including a torque input section and at least one torque output section; a crank assembly coupled with the spider through the torque input section and applying an input torque to the spider; a chainring mounted to the spider through the at least one torque output section and receiving an output torque from the spider; a gauge disposed and oriented generally along a tangential direction or a quasi-tangential direction with respect to the torque input section and the at least one torque output section; and a circuitry coupled to the gauge and receiving a signal from the gauge.
Cinch direct mount 2X ring system
A cinch direct mount 2X ring system is disclosed. One embodiment discloses a chainring assembly having a drive side crank arm with a chainring assembly interface including a plurality of splines, a circumference, and an axial length. The chainring assembly includes a first chainring having a first outer diameter and a first center assembly shape. The chainring assembly includes a second chainring having a second outer diameter and a second center assembly shape, the second outer diameter being different than the first outer diameter. The chainring assembly also includes a fastener to couple the first chainring and the second chainring with the chainring assembly interface, such that at least one of the first center assembly shape or the second center assembly shape engages with the plurality of splines.
Bicycle front sprocket
Methods and apparatus for a composite bicycle front sprocket are disclosed herein. One embodiment discloses a composite bicycle front sprocket assembly having an outer assembly of a first material. The bicycle front sprocket assembly also has a center assembly of a second material. The center assembly is disposed at least partially within the outer assembly. The center assembly is irremovably coupled with the outer assembly. The center assembly is irremovably coupled with the outer assembly without an external fastening device to irremovably couple the center assembly with the outer assembly.
BICYCLE CHAIN
A chain and an inner link plate for a bicycle chain having chain rollers is provided. A protrusion of the inner link plate in relation to the respectively assigned chain roller in a front lower longitudinal end region of an inner link plate outer periphery is reduced, in comparison to the protrusion in a front upper longitudinal end region and/or in a rear lower longitudinal end region of the inner link plate outer periphery.
Drive arrangement for a bicycle
A drive arrangement for a bicycle includes a crank having a crank mounting portion, a front sprocket having a front sprocket mounting portion attached to the crank mounting portion and a front chain engaging portion, an axle assembly, a plurality of rear sprockets located about an axis of the axle assembly, a chain configured to engage with the front chain engaging portion of the front sprocket and the plurality of rear sprockets, a gear changer having a gear changer mounting unit located about the axis of the axle assembly and having a first mounting portion spaced apart from a second portion mounting portion. The gear changer is configured to move the chain between an axially innermost rear sprocket and an axially outermost rear sprocket and a control unit is configured to control movement of the gear changer.
Chain-drive mechanism for bicycle
Provided is a chain-drive mechanism for bicycles having a simple configuration and low manufacturing, and capable of transmitting a driving force to a rear wheel when the crank arms rotate forward and reversely. The chain-drive mechanism for bicycle includes: an inner sprocket configured to integrally rotate with a crankshaft of a bicycle; and an outer sprocket disposed coaxially and in parallel with the inner sprocket to be rotatable relative to the crankshaft. An inner freewheel coaxially rotates with the rear wheel of the bicycle, and an outer freewheel is placed in parallel and coaxially with the inner freewheel. A chain runs on the inner sprocket, the outer sprocket, the inner freewheel and the outer freewheel so that the outer sprocket and the inner sprocket rotate in opposite directions and the outer freewheel and the inner freewheel rotate in opposite directions.
BICYCLE ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST DEVICE AND BICYCLE
A wide range of existing bicycles can be converted into electric power assisted bicycles with ease. The bicycle electric power assist device comprises a housing (52) configured to be attached to a frame (18) of a bicycle (10), an electric motor (54) attached to the housing (52), a battery (102) configured to be mounted to the frame and serves as a power source for the electric motor, an annular rotational output member (81) rotationally driven by the electric motor (54), the rotational output member being rotatably mounted on the housing and positioned around a crank axis line which is a rotational center line A of a crankshaft (24) and a crank arm (26) for a pedal of the bicycle, and a connecting member (90) connecting the rotational output member (81) to the crankshaft (24) or the crank arm (26) in a torque transmitting relationship.
Sprocket carrier and multiple sprocket arrangement
A multiple sprocket arrangement for rotatable mounting on a rear wheel axle may include a sprocket carrier. The sprocket carrier has a substantially uniform material thickness. The multiple sprocket arrangement includes smaller sprockets and larger sprockets. The sprocket carrier is formed so that at least three larger sprockets can be fastened to the carrier.
BICYCLE AND SPIDER CAPABLE OF MEASURING POWER
A bicycle capable of measuring power is disclosed. The bicycle comprises a spider including a torque input section and at least one torque output section; a crank assembly coupled with the spider through the torque input section and applying an input torque to the spider; a chainring mounted to the spider through the at least one torque output section and receiving an output torque from the spider; a gauge disposed and oriented generally along a tangential direction or a quasi-tangential direction with respect to the torque input section and the at least one torque output section; and a circuitry coupled to the gauge and receiving a signal from the gauge.
