Bicycle sprocket
10703439 · 2020-07-07 · ·

A bicycle sprocket comprises a sprocket body and a plurality of sprocket teeth provided on an outer periphery of the sprocket body and including at least one first tooth and at least one second tooth. The at least one first tooth has a driving surface side and a non-driving surface side. The at least one first tooth has a bevel cut shape in the non-driving surface side. The bevel cut shape is configured to avoid initially engaging with a bicycle chain in a shifting operation where the bicycle chain shifts from an adjacent smaller bicycle sprocket to the bicycle sprocket. The at least one second tooth is configured to initially engage with the bicycle chain in the shifting operation. The at least one second tooth is disposed adjacent to the at least one first tooth in a circumferential direction with respect to a rotational center axis of the bicycle sprocket.

Electric bicycle derailleur
10696358 · 2020-06-30 · ·

A bicycle derailleur comprising a chain guide, an electric motor that displaces the chain guide and an electrically controllable device configured to, selectively, block the rotation of the electric motor and let the electric motor free to rotate. A method for actuating a bicycle derailleur comprising a chain guide and an electric motor that displaces the chain guide, comprises the steps of: receiving a gearshifting request signal; making the electric motor free to rotate; driving the electric motor to displace the chain guide until the chain guide is in an intended position while the electric motor is made free to rotate; and, blocking the rotation of the electric motor.

Rocker for a bicycle gear

A rocker for a bicycle gear that has an inner plate, an outer plate, a pair of pins integral with said inner and outer plates and a pair of toothed wheels arranged between them. Each toothed wheels is rotatably mounted on a respective pin. At least one pin is inserted in non-threaded through holes formed in the inner and outer plates and is defined by a screw with an outer threading and a female screw with an inner threading engaged with the outer threading.

A bicycle sprocket assembly comprises a first sprocket and a second sprocket. The first sprocket includes a first sprocket body, first sprocket teeth, and a first pitch circle. The first pitch circle has a first diameter. The second sprocket includes a second sprocket body, second sprocket teeth, and a second pitch circle. The first sprocket teeth include a large-sprocket downshifting tooth and an additional large-sprocket downshifting tooth. The second sprocket teeth include a first small-sprocket downshifting tooth, a second small-sprocket downshifting tooth, a first adjacent tooth, and a second adjacent tooth. A circumferential area is defined from a driving surface of the first adjacent tooth to a non-driving surface of the second adjacent tooth in a driving rotational direction about a rotational center axis when viewed in an axial direction. The large-sprocket downshifting tooth is disposed in the circumferential area when viewed in the axial direction.

CLUTCH SYSTEM FOR A TORQUE TRANSMISSION

A clutch system for a torque transmission. The clutch system includes a first rotatable unit connectable to an input, including at least one first abutment surface and a second rotatable unit connectable to an output, including at least one second abutment surface arranged for selectively engaging the first abutment surface. The first and second abutment surfaces being adapted to each other so as to allow disengaging under load. The system includes a third rotatable unit arranged for selectively being in a first position or a second position relative to the second rotatable unit, wherein at least one retaining member of the third rotatable unit selectively locks the at least one second abutment surface in engagement with the at least one first abutment surface for selectively rotationally coupling the second rotatable unit to the first rotatable unit.
