RIBBED FLASHER FOR USE WHILE FISHING
A flasher including at least one rib elevated above the surface of the middle plate portion of the flasher is provided. The rib(s) may exaggerate the movement of the flasher when pulled through water, when compared to an otherwise identical flasher without the rib(s).
PROGRAMMABLE FISHING ROD VIBRATOR WITH SENSORY FEEDBACK CONTROLLER
A fishing rod vibration system, including a mounting platform, a batter powered electronics system mounted on the mounting platform and including a motor controller and a user interface operably and electrically coupled to the motor controller, as well as a vibrator selectively and detachably coupled to the electronics system for receiving output signals from the motor controller. The vibrator includes a housing enclosing an electric motor, and vibrator mounting elements enable attachment of the vibrator to a fishing rod.
SNAG FREE FISHING LIFT
An improved lift attaches to the leader line of a fishing reel and reduces snags. In use, a user casts a rig including the leader line, an improved lift, a hook, and a weight into the water. The lift includes a body having apertures through which the fishing line extends to mount the lift onto the leader line, upstanding sides, and outwardly extending wings. As the rig moves in the water, the outwardly extending wings of the lift cause the lift to ascend from the bottom of the body of water, thus preventing opportunities for the hook or weight to become snagged, for example on rocks or sunken tree branches.

Ice fishing indicator device
The present invention relates to an ice fishing indicator device and in particular to an ice fishing indicator device having an improved trigger and or jigging mechanisms. The device has a housing that holds a can for a candle or heat source. A heat shield protects a power box. The jigging mechanism has a motor, a rotating arm, an offset weight and a jigging arm, wherein a wiggle is produced during operation. A reel assembly has a trigger. The trigger can be mechanical via direct contact or contactless. A reel lug can contact a trigger or pass near a contactless sensor. The trigger can cause a flag to deploy via an electrically controlled flag release. The trigger can also cause a communication device to send a signal. The communication device can be held in a communication box on the interior of the housing.
MEASURING PROBE FOR A SPINNING OR CASTING ROD
The invention relates to measuring probe (100) for a spinning or casting rod (1) comprising a housing (101) with connection means (102a, 102b) on the housing (101) for securing the measuring probe (100) to a fishing line (2) of the rod (1) above the lure (3). The sensors include at least one of: an accelerometer (104), a gyroscope (105), a water pressure sensor (112), and an active sonar unit (111). The measuring probe (100) further comprises a wireless communication unit (108), preferably Bluetooth for transmitting stored sensor data to an external device when the measuring probe (100) is above the water surface (5), and a battery (110) for powering the measuring probe (100).
Programmable fishing rod vibrator with sensory feedback controller
A fishing rod vibration system including a battery powered electronics system, programmable motor controller, and user interface, as well as a vibrator selectively and detachably coupled to the electronics system for receiving output signals from the motor controller. The electronics system and user interface may be disposed in or on a fishing reel, and the electronic vibrator may be collocated with the electronics system or disposed on a fishing rod separated from the electronics system.
Snag Release Fishing Lure Apparatus
The present invention relates generally to fishing equipment, more specifically but not by way of limitation, a fishing lure apparatus that includes a first portion and a second portion wherein the fishing lure apparatus is configured to provide a first position and a second position for a fishing line secured thereto in order to facilitate release of the fishing lure apparatus on which it is snagged.
UNDERWATER FISHING CAMERA, SMART FISHING CAMERA SYSTEM, AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC IMAGE ROTATION AND STABILIZATION
An underwater fishing camera includes a housing having a first proximal end and a second distal end. A nose cap is fastened to the first proximal end of the housing where the nose cap and the housing form a water tight connection. A camera cap is fastened to the rear distal end of the housing where the camera cap and the housing form a water tight connection. An image and video recording device is disposed within the housing towards the second distal end. A leader line connection is connected to the housing. The leader line connection has a first connection point to connect to fishing line extending to a fishing rod and a second connection point to connect to leader line extending towards a lure or fish attractant.
Fishing hook with guard
A guard-equipped fishing hook 50 includes: a fishing hook 30; a guard 10 formed by bending a wire-like material in a V shape; and a base 20 fixed to a shank 30b of the fishing hook 30 and having a guard attachment hole 24 formed therein, the guard attachment hole 24 holding the guard 10 such that the guard is positioned in front of a hook tip 30a when an insertion end 10a as a bent end of the guard 10 is inserted into the guard attachment hole 24. The guard 10 is made of a superelastic alloy. The guard attachment hole 24 is formed so as to be gradually tapered from an opening 24a thereof to a deepest end thereof. A bending angle of the insertion end 10a of the guard 10 is larger than an opening angle of the guard attachment hole 24.
