WATER DIVERTING FLAT DRIFTING HULL FOR A CATAMARAN
20220324535 · 2022-10-13 ·

A flat catamaran watercraft construction is provided having a bow that defines a “split V” configuration in which the bottom surface of each of the two asymmetrical catamaran hull portions at the forward section of each hull portion slope upward from the inboard side of the hull portion to the outboard side of the hull portion. Such upward slope of the bottom of each hull portion sheds water and waves to the outboard sides of the vessel as it travels through the water in order to minimize the amount of water and spray that is directed upward between the individual hull portions towards the passengers. The rear portions of each such hull portion define an angled slope along both inboard and outboard sides, which angled slopes allow the rear portion of the watercraft to slide and drift sideways along the surface of the water as the watercraft turns. The flat catamaran hull portions and deck of the watercraft are preferably of unibody construction, such that they are formed (e.g., molded or otherwise machined) in a single, one-piece assembly.

MARINE LIFTING APPARATUS

A catamaran lifting apparatus is disclosed for lifting objects in a marine environment. The apparatus includes first and second vessels that are spaced apart during use. A first frame spans between the vessels. A second frame spans between the vessels. The frames arc spaced apart and connected to the vessels in a configuration that spaces the vessels apart. The first frame connects to the first vessel with a universal joint and to the second vessel with a hinged connection. The second frame connects to the second vessel with a universal joint and to the first vessel with a hinged or pinned connection. Each of the frames provides a space under the frame and in between the barges that enables a package to be lifted and/or a marine vessel to be positioned in between the barges and under the frames. In this fashion, an object that has been salvaged from the seabed can be placed upon the marine vessel that is positioned in between the barges and under the frames.

POSITION HOLD TO STRUCTURE/OBJECT FEATURE FOR THRUSTER EQUIPPED WATERCRAFT
20230150643 · 2023-05-18 ·

A method includes receiving a position hold signal from a human-machine interface of a marine vessel; in response to receiving the position hold signal, monitoring sensor data from at least one sensor; determining a hold position based at least on the monitored sensor data; and selectively controlling a thruster system of the marine vessel to hold the marine vessel in the hold position using the monitored sensor data.

Hull assembly for a pontoon boat

A hull assembly for a pontoon boat includes a hull extending in a longitudinal direction between a front end and a rear end. A first thruster assembly is attached to a first lateral side of the hull. A second thruster assembly is attached to a second lateral side of the hull. The first and second thruster assemblies include respective thrust units that are each movable between a deployed position and a stowed position.

HYDROFOILING SAILBOAT

A multihull sailing vessel includes at least two buoyant hulls extending along their longitudinal axes, with the hulls being connected to each other and a first hydrofoil connected to the hulls and oriented transverse to the hulls. The first hydrofoil is movably coupled to the hulls between a first position above a resting waterline of the hulls and a second position below a lowest extent of the hulls. When the first hydrofoil is in the second position, a configuration of the first hydrofoil is adjustable to vary an amount of lifting force generated by the first hydrofoil when the hulls move forward through water when the first hydrofoil is in the second position.

CATAMARAN CENTRALIZED-TRANSPORTATION FISHING SHIP AND CONTROL METHOD
20230192247 · 2023-06-22 ·

The present invention provides a catamaran centralized-transportation fishing ship and a control method, which relate to the technical field of fishing of fishing ships. The catamaran centralized-transportation fishing ship has the fishing assembly and the concave chamber for centralized transportation of fish bodies, which can simultaneously have two functions of fishing and centralized transportation, and has a wide application range. Compared with existing fishing ships for fishing operations, the fishing ship can place the caught fish bodies in the concave chamber, so that the fish bodies can be in original water quality during a transfer process, and thus a survival rate of the fish bodies is increased. Meanwhile, setting of the limiting mechanism can prevent the fish bodies from escaping and increase a fishing amount of a single fishing operation.

A retractable hammock support system includes a tubular housing and a first plurality of wheels. The first plurality of wheels are secured to the housing. The system includes a tubular member having a first portion disposed within the housing and a second portion disposed outside the housing. The member is slidable into or out from the housing. In a retracted position, the second portion has a first length. In an extended position, the second portion has a second length. The first length is shorter than the second length. The system includes a handle disposed on the member. The handle is disposed on the second portion of the member. The first plurality of wheels are disposed within an interior space of the member. The first plurality of wheels are configured to contact a first internal surface of the member.

SWIM UP BAR FOR A BOAT

A system includes a housing and a swim up bar configured to be mounted on a boat. The swim up bar is movable into or out from the housing. In a deployed position, the swim up bar is extended from a bow of the boat. In a storage position, the swim up bar is contained within the housing.

Reinforced Articulated Top

An articulating top having a frame, a cover attached to the frame and a mounting bracket to attach the frame to a vehicle can be moved between a deployed position to provide shelter to an area below the top and a stowed position. The frame having main and secondary frame members in addition to one or more struts between a frame member and the vehicle to provide additional support to the frame such that the top can be used while the vehicle is in motion or in windy conditions. The top may also use one or more braces.
