The invention relates to a watercraft for transporting at least one person on a water surface, comprising an input device for providing a control instruction, wherein the control instruction depends on an input movement of the person and the input movement can be carried out during travel with the watercraft, furthermore comprising a control device for providing a change and thus a selective increase and decrease of the lift force as a function of the control instruction, furthermore having a transmission device for transmitting the control instruction from the input device to the control device, furthermore having a steering device for providing a change in direction of the watercraft taking place along the water surface as a function of a steering movement by the person, wherein a holding device is provided for enabling a supporting function for the person operating the watercraft, wherein the input movement can be carried out independently of the steering movement and/or the supporting function.
UNDERWATER WINGS FOR PROVIDING LIFT TO BOATS
The present invention relates generally to underwater wings for providing lift to boats. More particularly, exemplary embodiments of the present invention include a pair of underwater wings that attach to the hulls of a pontoon. The purpose of the wings is to provide a designated amount of lift to reduce drag and improve performance of the watercraft. This is different from a traditional hydrofoil, which is designed to lift a boat completely out of the water. Ideally, the wings are connected to the deck of the pontoon boat via adjustable mounts that allow the wings to be raised or lowered in the water to adjust the amount of drag.

An active stabilizing device for a primary damping of rolling movements of a ship or other watercraft including a hull including at least one positioning device having a drive journal and a stabilizing fin with a stabilizing surface and a root, the drive journal being attached to the stabilizing fin at the root, the stabilizing surface having a leading edge and a trailing edge and being configured to be disposed underwater. The positioning device is configured to set an angle of attack of the stabilizing fin by rotating the drive journal about a first axis of rotation and to pivot the drive journal about a second axis of rotation to move the stabilizing fin between a forward position and a rearward position relative to a bow of the watercraft.

The invention relates to a trim stabilizer device comprising a foil being structurally independent from the transom of a boat to which it is to be mounted and being tiltable around its transversal axis; a first actuator associated with the foil for tilting thereof; a adjusting arm associated with the foil, at one end, for making a vertical motion thereof relative to the transom, and at the other end, associated with a connecting member provided on the transom. The trim stabilizer device for boats comprises a second actuator for making a vertical motion by a non-manual force of the adjusting arm.

The invention relates to a system for controlling a hydrofoil boat comprising at least three static pressure or dynamic pressure and water speed sensors submerged in the water and located on the submerged hydrofoils of the boat, an electronic controller on the boat, an actuator for each one of the submerged hydrofoils able to change an angle of attack of its respective hydrofoil. The control system allows boats on hydrofoils to sail in a safe and comfortable way in any wave condition within the sailing limits of traditional boats.
SPONSON DEVICE AND JET PROPELLED WATERCRAFT
A sponson device attachable to a watercraft body of a jet propelled watercraft includes a bow sponson located forward of a center of gravity of the jet propelled watercraft. The bow sponson protrudes from the watercraft body in a right-and-left direction, and is movable to a first position and a second position to adjust a trim of the watercraft body during turning of the jet propelled watercraft.
MODULAR FOIL SYSTEM FOR TOWED MARINE ARRAY
A marine array having various embodiments of a modular foil system is disclosed. The modular foil system may be configured to generate lift when towed in a marine environment, and thus used to move, position, and/or depress instrument of the array. The modular foil system may include multiple groups of foil sections, each having an angle of attack that is adjustable relative to other groups of foil sections. For example, each group may be supported by a pair of through cables, and an actuator may adjust a tension in one or both of through cables, thereby alerting the angle of attack. The pair of through cables may converge toward one another at connection points adjacent opposing ends of a given group of foil sections of the modular system. The connection points thus establishing a modular framework to couple the given group to other groups of foils of the system.

The present invention provides an aquatic moving body configured to move in a state where a main body portion is floated above a water surface, comprising: a first hydrofoil and a second hydrofoil disposed along a left-and-right direction of the aquatic moving body and provided in the main body portion so as to be able to change elevation angles independently of each other; a first propulsion unit provided at an end portion of the first hydrofoil and configured to generate a propulsive force; and a second propulsion unit provided at an end portion of the second hydrofoil and configured to generate a propulsive force, wherein a first partition wall is provided between the first hydrofoil and the first propulsion unit, and a second partition wall is provided between the second hydrofoil and the second propulsion unit.
