Method and device for controlling coupled forward and aft doors of an aircraft landing gear bay
A system for the control of the door assemblies of a bay of a landing gear of an aircraft, that is retractile and is able to be deployed, the opening of the bay for the landing gear being able to be closed by a forward door assembly and an aft door assembly, comprises a coupling mechanism of the forward door assembly and the aft door assembly, that is configured such that the aft door assembly is not completely closed, but is ajar, as soon as the forward door assembly is opened during the deployment of the landing gear and the aft door assembly is completely closed at the complete closing of the forward door assembly when the landing gear is retracted.
METHOD OF MOVING DOORS OF A WELL FOR AN AIRCRAFT UNDERCARRIAGE
A method of moving a door of a well for an aircraft undercarriage during sequences of deploying or retracting the undercarriage includes: using a temporary mechanical connection between the door and the undercarriage that is effective when the undercarriage is close to its retracted position, causing the door to be opened by the undercarriage while the undercarriage is being deployed and causing the door to be closed by the undercarriage while the undercarriage is being retracted, but releasing the door from the undercarriage when the undercarriage is close to its deployed position, and using a door actuator acting on the door to close and open the door when the undercarriage is in its deployed position and the temporary mechanical connection is interrupted.
Landing gear door installation
An aircraft has retractable landing gear configured to reciprocate between a deployed position and a stowed position. A landing gear door installation includes a first door rotatably coupled to the aircraft about a first axis for movement between a raided position and lowered position. The door installation further includes a second door located aft of the first door and coupled to the aircraft for movement between a first position when the landing gear is in the stowed position, and a second position when the landing gear is in the deployed position. A portion of the first door overlaps a portion of the second door when the first door is in the raised position and the second door is in the first position so that the first door blocks deployment of the second door to the second position.

Cover panel for aircraft landing gear wheel well
An aerodynamic cover panel for a landing gear wheel well in an undercarriage of an aircraft includes at least one embodiment having a peripheral lip that defines a plane. Movements of the cover panel to open and close the wheel well are confined to pivotal rotation within the plane, and occur within an aerodynamic boundary layer of the undercarriage about a pivot axis in one rotational direction to open the wheel well, and in an opposite rotational direction to close the wheel well. The cover panel includes a flange, to which a rotary shaft is secured at one end for rotation about the pivot axis. The other end of the rotary shaft is secured to an actuator fixed within the undercarriage. In one embodiment, the cover panel rotates about an arc of least 75 between fully opened and fully closed positions of the wheel well.

Acoustically treated landing gear door and method for reducing noise from landing gear of an aircraft
There is provided an acoustically treated landing gear door for reducing noise from a landing gear of an aircraft. The acoustically treated landing gear door includes a landing gear door for attachment to the aircraft. The landing gear door includes an acoustic treatment assembly integrated on an inner mold line of an interior side, and extending within an interior cavity of the landing gear door. The acoustic treatment assembly includes a core structure having a first side and a second side, a plurality of core cells extending between the first side and the second side, and a drainage system. The acoustic treatment assembly further includes an acoustic facesheet and a nonporous backsheet. The acoustically treated landing gear door reduces the noise from the landing gear, when the landing gear is in a deployed position, by attenuating acoustic waves emanating from the landing gear and reflected off the acoustic treatment assembly.

NOISE REDUCTION FAIRING
An aircraft landing gear assembly including a plurality of noise-inducing elements, at least one of the noise-inducing elements comprising a brake assembly or electric drive assembly, and a noise reduction fairing arranged to shield only at least a portion of the brake assembly from incident airflow.
WING ASSEMBLIES AND AIRCRAFT
Wing assemblies comprise one or more wing support structures, an inboard-most flap, and one or more flap supports that operatively couple the inboard-most flap to the wing support structure(s). The flap support(s) comprise at least an inboard-most inboard-flap support that is outboard of the inboard edge of the inboard-most flap.
