CONTROLLING MOVEMENT OF LANDING GEAR OR LANDING GEAR BAY DOORS
A method of operating a landing gear controller for an aircraft, including: the landing gear controller receiving one or more signals from at least one position sensor. The one or more signals indicate a position of one of a landing gear bay door and a landing gear when the landing gear bay door or the landing gear, respectively, is part way through a range of travel between two limits of travel. The method may also include the landing gear controller controlling movement of the other of the landing gear bay door and the landing gear on the basis of the one or more signals.
COMPACT AIRCRAFT MAIN LANDING GEAR MODULE ALLOWING MODULAR MOUNTING
A module includes two main landing gears and a landing gear bay containing the landing gears. The bay has two lateral walls, a roof wall, a front wall and a rear wall. The roof wall, the front wall and the rear wall together form a pressurization barrier between the bay and a pressurized compartment. By virtue of the landing gear module, it is now possible to assemble and test the main landing gears and the one or more doors and the fairing before they are installed on the aircraft.

Component alignment systems for aircraft
A component alignment system for an aircraft includes a first component having a first surface including first shaped projections that repeat in at least two directions along the first surface. The component alignment system also includes a second component having a second surface including second shaped projections that repeat in at least two directions along the second surface. The first shaped projections are complementary to the second shaped projections such that the first surface is translationally and rotationally constrained relative to the second surface when the first and second shaped projections are in an interlocked position.
LANDING GEAR DOOR INSTALLATION
An aircraft has retractable landing gear configured to reciprocate between a deployed position and a stowed position. A landing gear door installation includes a first door rotatably coupled to the aircraft about a first axis for movement between a raided position and lowered position. The door installation further includes a second door located aft of the first door and coupled to the aircraft for movement between a first position when the landing gear is in the stowed position, and a second position when the landing gear is in the deployed position. A portion of the first door overlaps a portion of the second door when the first door is in the raised position and the second door is in the first position so that the first door blocks deployment of the second door to the second position.

Aircraft landing gear arrangement
An aircraft landing gear arrangement with an airbag attached inside a landing gear bay is disclosed. The airbag has a deflated configuration and a first inflated configuration, wherein, when the landing gear is in the extended position and when the airbag is in the first inflated configuration, the airbag closes off the landing gear bay. The airbag may substantially close off the landing gear bay. The airbag may comprise an external surface, wherein the external surface of the airbag closes off at least a significant proportion of the landing gear bay and lies substantially flush with an external surface of the aircraft body. An aircraft, methods of operating a landing gear arrangement, and methods of operating an aircraft are disclosed.

Methods and apparatus for fabricating panels
A composite sandwich panel includes a first composite part and a second composite part. A plurality of stiffeners extend between the first and second composite parts. A fiberglass composite perimeter edge closeout is positioned along one or more edges of the first and second composite parts. The fiberglass composite perimeter edge closeout controls a magnetic flux to bond the first and second composite parts to the plurality of stiffeners.
