Legrest for an aircraft passenger seat, comprising a device

A legrest for an aircraft passenger seat, comprising a device, wherein: the device has a housing; the housing has a first and a second housing half; the two housing halves are pivotally connected to one another; the housing is designed such that a life jacket for an aircraft passenger can be stowed therein; the device is provided on a main structure of the legrest; the first housing half is spring-loaded with respect to the second housing half by the spring force of a spring device of the device, such that the first housing half can be moved from an open position relative to the second housing half towards a closed position relative to the second housing half.

HYBRID LIFEVEST SOFT POUCH

Described is a hybrid lifevest enclosure having a base, a frame assembly, and an attachment member for coupling the base to the frame assembly. The base may be formed of a flexible material and the frame assembly may be formed of a rigid material. The hybrid lifevest enclosure may comprise a sealed configuration in which the base is coupled to the frame assembly in a manner that prevents insertion of a foreign object having a length of 9.9 cm and a diameter of 0.9 cm into the sealed configuration without evidence that the sealed configuration has been unsealed. The hybrid lifevest enclosure may also comprise a sealed configuration that complies with Design for Safety requirements.

Life vest container device

The invention relates to a life vest container device, in particular aircraft seat life vest container device, for a life vest unit, with a life vest container comprising an accommodation unit that has an accommodation space as well as an access opening to the accommodation space, and with a monitoring device. It is proposed that the monitoring device is at least configured to capture a change of at least one characteristic via at least one electric and/or electronic signal.

IMBEDDED SENSORS FOR PASSENGER SEATS
20220177139 · 2022-06-09 ·

Described are passenger seat assemblies having a first seat structure (222) that includes a non-contact sensor or sensors (106a) and a second, movable or deployable passenger seat structure (226) that contains an embedded magnetic element or elements (236a). Each magnetic element interacts with the non-contact sensor such that the embedded magnetic element causes the non-contact sensor (106a) to switch between a first state and the second state, depending on the orientation of the second structure (226) with respect to the first structure (222). The sensor can detect whether the second passenger seat structure is positioned in a stowed configuration or a deployed configuration.

The present invention provides a life jacket case which can achieve weight reduction as well as seal the inside. Provided is a life jacket case for housing a life jacket, wherein a cover of an opening, through which the life jacket is taken in and out, is made of a first material which is hard enough to keep the shape of the cover, and a region other than or larger than the region made of the first material is made of a second material which is more lightweight than the first material. It is preferable that the life jacket case is fitted with a security tag which indicates whether or not the cover has been opened.

AIRCRAFT SUITE
