A CAPSULE FOR STORING A SUBSTANCE IN A DISPOSABLE CUP AND USES THEREOF
A capsule for enclosing a substance on a bottom of a first disposable cup comprises a bottom and a rim deformed from the bottom of the first cup. The capsule comprises a bottom having a circumference, a wall extending from the circumference, and an opening, wherein the capsule is configured to be accommodated in a space defined by the bottom and the rim of a second disposable cup inserted inside the first disposable cup. The capsule may further comprise at least one handle and at least one inner wall. A method of packaging a plurality of disposable cups, capsules, and substance can be packaged in a manner that keeps the substance fresh for an extended period of time.
System and method for optimizing the height of a box for shipping
A system for closing a shipping container that has a rectangular bottom wall, upstanding side walls extending from the periphery of the bottom wall, and an open top end, includes a sled capable of moving the container between a first station and a second station spaced from the first station, and a flap-folding assembly movable with the sled. The flap-folding assembly is configured to inwardly fold flaps of the container while the sled moves the container between the first station and the second station.
GLOVE PACKAGING HAVING ANTIMICROBIAL BARRIER
A glove packaging comprises a container for holding the gloves and a barrier positioned to cover at least a portion of an opening in the container. The barrier protects the gloves from airborne particles and other materials or contaminants that may contaminate the gloves prior to removal from the packaging. The barrier also includes an antimicrobial material for protecting the gloves from microorganisms, pathogens or other materials or contaminants that come in contact with the barrier to further reduce the possibility of contamination.
Closer for containers
A closer for containers, in particular bottles, with a closing head acting in a clean room and with an electric motor comprising at least one rotor and at least one stator, with the closing head connected with the rotor, and an element for clean room separation is formed between the rotor and the stator.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING THE HEIGHT OF A BOX FOR SHIPPING

The flap-folding assembly is configured to inwardly fold flaps of the container while the sled moves the container between the first station and the second station.
Package for a Sterile Medical Device and Assembly Method
A package configured to contain at least one sterile medical device includes at least one first web comprising a natural-fiber material, such as paper, paperboard, or cardboard, and at least one second web including the natural-fiber material. The at least one second web also includes at least one cavity sized to contain the at least one medical device. The at least one first web is connected to the at least one second web to provide a sterile barrier preventing microbial ingress to the at least one medical device through the package. A method of assembling a sealed sterile package containing at least one sterile medical device is also provided.
Method for controlling a plurality of carts movable along an endless track
A method for controlling a plurality of carts movable independently from one another along an endless track and configured to perform at least one task in order to carry out at least one operation onto respective articles; the method including the steps of: advancing the carts along the track, the track including at least one task section and at least one transient section; advancing each cart along a task-assignment section of the track arranged upstream of the at least one task section; advancing a plurality of articles along a feeding path and through an operation station; detecting the passage of each article at a detection station of the feeding path located upstream of the operation station; and controlling one respective cart to perform the at least one task if an article is detected, during the step d) of detecting, when the cart is moving along the task-assignment section.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURE FOR A HIGHLY PEELABLE LID WITH A FRANGIBLE SEAL
The following disclosure describes a container with a peelable lid having a frangible seal and method of manufacture. The method includes providing a container body, receiving a lid, aligning and placing the lid flush against the rim of the container body, and sealing the lid to the container body. The method of manufacture produces a container with a peelable lid having a frangible seal, the container including a container body, a lid sealed to the rim of the open end of the container body, and a pull tab.
Enhanced bonding and sealing between two fibrous materials
Embodiments of the invention overcome the shortcomings of prior technologies by infusing nanocellulose in a fibrillated form to enhance the properties of cellulose pulp. These properties may include, for example, the mechanical and barrier properties, i.e., tensile strength, liquid, and gas impermeability such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and oil, can be improved substantially. Another embodiment of the invention further provide a fibrillated cellulose composite material that include properties of being a strength-enhancing agent, an oligomer, carboxylic acid, plasticizer, an antimicrobial agent, water repellant, oil repellant, and/or a transparent composite.
